Gun Control Advocates in Hysterics over Fading Chances of Legislation
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | May 4, 2013 | AWR Hawkins

Gun control advocates are in hysterics, using frenzied, emotional attacks against Senators who opposed gun control last month in hopes of changing the momentum.

This explains why Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) has been targeted in New Hampshire, and it's why Gabby Giffords and her husband Mark Kelly have been targeting Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in Kentucky.

Staunch gun control supporters saw Sandy Hook Elementary as their opportunity to secure more gun laws, but now they see that opportunity fading away....

Gun control may be shut down at the federal level, but many of the states are killing us.

A clever move on the part of Barry’s gun Nazis. All of these individual anti-Second Amendment gun confiscations laws being passed by the Nazis in each of the individual states are going to be tied up in the courts for the next hundred years. Never underestimate the commies and Nazis. They’re not as dumb as they look and act.

In many respects I am pessimistic about this country’s future — but I think gun control is dead. Between 3-D printers, and states like Kansas moving to effectively nullify federal gun laws, I think the ship has sailed and we have won that topic. There will not be a do-over.

Besides CO, NY and CT, any other states pass anti-2a laws yet?

They can only hope for another mass shooting.

Those are the worst, but I believe a few other already strict states have or are adding more laws. These states have clearly violated even the weakest interpretation of the 2A.

California has several bills working their way through, and with a governor named moonbeam, and an extremely liberal state legislature it doesn’t look good. One would require people to buy a permit to buy ammo. Another would make it illegal to possess a mag that can hold more than 10 rounds. Yet another would prevent gun ownership for a DUI conviction. There are more, but that is what I remember off the top of my head. I am so sick and tired of these tyrants.

California.

Washington State Governor the doofus Jay Inslee has called a special session to address gun control, but I do believe it is DOA no matter how many times he calls special sessions...we’ll recall the guv before we’ll see any new gun laws, IMHO.

I think Maryland is about to crank out their anti freedom legislation in the race to the bottom.

“There will need to be a grass roots ammo mfg infrastructure.”

I remember in the Philippines and Vietnam when in the service and I know that here and there in the U.S., if there is a need, a supply will surface. Call it a black market, call it smuggling, call it what you will, the need will be met if the money is there.

Between 3-D printers,

People have been making firearms since the 1600s. Give me lead, sulfur, iron ore, coal or enough trees to make charcoal out of, and I can make a firearm and ammo starting from that.

I really don't need the lead, since the first projectiles were stones.

Since I'm living in the 21st century, my lathe and milling machine in the shop behind the house will work just fine.

It's not rocket science.

With enough garages pounding out brass, pouring lead and doing assembly, we can get through this.

Well, between removing the S from Diesel and now, soon, gasoline, there should be no domestic shortage of inexpensive S for the foreseeable future.

I live not far from a place called Sulfur Springs.

I'll bet I can find it in nature without too much trouble.

The next Allahu Ahkbar with a gun instead of a bomb will bring out all the gun control bills once more. The issue will never go away. 2A is the only thing that prevents an outright police state, instead of the semi-covert one in which we live.
