So Sarah, tell me just HOW I get on the sweet gravy train of $100/month.
Silly!
Notice zero healthcare is being accessed, just the “privilege to buy the affordable insurance”!
Kind of like government mandated no-fault auto insurance!
For about $80.00 a month I must buy the required PIP and Liability coverage. This will allow another drivers insurance company to sue mine for some cost recovery, if I am involved in an accident where it is determined I was at fault.
For fifty to one hundred dollars more, I can add “Uninsured Motorist” coverage. I'm not sure why I would buy this.If my car was stolen, how would I know if it was by an uninsured motorist?
For between one-two hundred dollars more a month, I could by a policy that also includes “Comprehensive and Collision” coverage. This would actually help me to get my car repaired or replaced, if my car is stolen or involved in an accident, no matter who was at fault.
Less a $500.00 deductable.
My car is only worth $1500.00. Which insurance policy should I buy? (LOL)
No, I'm not doing anything...really...that's rain you're feeling on your leg.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Lying bitch. I’ll b lucky to keep my doctor let alone my plan
To answer your question:
1.Quit your job.
2.Get a part time job with an employer who does not offer to pay greater than 50% of your healthcare insurance as a benefit.
If they offer a policy, and you refuse to accept it, you are probably not eligiable for the subsidies or exchanges anyways. If they do offer to pay more than 60% of the premiums, you are not only not eligiable, but must pay yet another tax.
3.Carefully make absolutely certain you don't make over the subsidized taxable amount in any calender year for your individual family situation.
“Health care costs, per capita in the US, are about $9000 a year. This article is saying that people can have health coverage for $1200 a year.”
Of course, that’s the point. Who’s going to pay for that? It will be either the middle class who will pay higher premiums or it will be the middle class, who will pay higher taxes.
Those $100 per month premiums apply only if you are on foodstamps (oversimplification alert—it’s not completely accurate, but close).
“If Medicade and CHIP were already available, why do they need 0bamacare?”
Obamacare expands the number of people eligible for Medicaid a whole lot.
This is untrue.
My guess is they will raise the cash assistance for those on welfare for enough to cover the cost, deduct the insurance premium from their card before they see it... presto free health care. How will the government pay for doing that? Simple, just tax those filthy rich people some more, borrow more from China, print more...If it doesn’t work, just blame the Republicans. It is really quite easy don’t you know? That is what makes Obama and his supporters so brilliant.
That's $100/month every month when there are other things to buy; booze, drugs fast food.
One-third of the people who were uninsured before Obamacare came along were already eligible for Medicaid, but were too lazy or irresponsible to sign up (or preferred to get their medical services in the emergency room, where they didn’t have to be bothered making an appointment before they showed up) - Medicaid is a federal-state program for the poor, who pay little or nothing for their care - if they can find a physician willing to see them - it’s no surprise whatsoever that new enrollees under Obamacare will pay so little - it’s what they would have been paying had they bothered to sign up before......
I keep reading that the 100 a month insurance is because of tax credits. If people have to pay upfront and wait for the refund end of year then this program will not work.
WHO is going to “front” the full cost till the tax credit are paid.
We don’t need Heath Insurance in the FEMA Camps - or do we ?
Probably. The people they are likely to put in FEMA camps will have to pay for those that can’t afford it and their own, just as before they were put in the camps. If they can’t...well then what use are they?
And in a few years the states will be on the hook for this, forever.
To get access to everyone else’s money.
American sheeple will not stand for any cheap-assed British health system, they will expect the same as now for no cost to them. As soon as that inconvenient fact sinks in there will be hell to pay, but the dems are big on kicking the can.
Shed assets, quit your job, and go on welfare.
Even "cheaper" is $0/month: put everything in somebody else's name, then commit a major non-violent felony; waive counsel, and plead guilty; grossly insult the judge if he hands down too lenient a sentence. The prison has to provide free medical & dental care, in addition to 3 hots & a cot. Other "bennies" too, such as computers, library, classes, gym, etc. for free. Just make sure it's a white collar prison; or even better, a mental institution.
“We dont need Heath Insurance in the FEMA Camps - or do we ?”
Just remember. China makes the families of executed prisoners pay for the bullet.
The very same people who pay NOTHING now aren't all of a sudden going start paying.
I patiently describe how shoplifters get away with their crimes, because "Someone else" is picking up the slack, with paying higher prices for goods.
The same is true with health care. "someone else" pays when a gangbanger gets shot.
But why Obamacare is a failure, is that the very same innocent taxpayers will continue to pay for the gangbanger, NOW they also have to pay for the ginormous, ridiculous beaurocracy in addition to the uninsured, who will, and always will suck the system dry.
What an unfair question!
Only people with a real non-government job and who pay net income taxes enjoy the privilege of "paying the balance" for the indolent parasites.
