McDaniel is absolutely right that states should support themselves.
On top of that the federals get every dime of revenue from people living in 50 states. For every dollar they collect they return only a fraction back to the states. So how does it benefit the states?
The federals should be mainly responsible for national defense. The feds have regularly made a mess out of so many things...Veteran’s Admin is a mess, post office is a mess, IRS is used as a political tool, Amtrak is a mess, borders are a mess, medicare is broke, social security funds have been raided, Dept. of State can’t even protect our ambassadors, Feds attack ranchers with machine guns because their cows ate grass which regrows in a few weeks, our election system is a mess, just to name a few of the federal messes.

They don't seem to realize that one of the smears they are using against McDaniel "He would have found it a hard decision to vote for Katrina relief", is one of the reasons I want him to win the Senate seat. It SHOULD be a hard decision to rob Peter to pay Paul. All Thad has to offer is that he brings billions of taxpayer funds to the State and also helps others get more billions of taxpayer funds for other dalliances - Thad is a big part of the government in its out-of-control spending orgy.
