The Republican who lost a primary runoff election to Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran says he plans to challenge the results in court "any day now."
Chris McDaniel says he believes there were thousands of irregularities.
In an interview with CNN Friday, McDaniel said what matters is that fraud be uncovered where it exists and many Mississippi residents are "very angry" because they think their votes in the June 24 primary were nullified by fraud....

They had no intention of voting for Cochran in November, they just didn't want McDaniel to win. They, or those who saw to it that they got out to vote against a genuine conservative, would rather run a RINO against a genuine liberal any day.
They will vote for the genuine article (liberal) come November!
This isn't merely a Mississippi trait, it happens in lots if other states as well.
Liberals link arms with crony capitalists to keep power in DC and freedom far away from real Americans!
Cochran and his GOP(e) cohorts initiated this scorched earth scenario. The damage that this has done with GOP (e)/Conservatives relations will reverberate for years.
Whether McDaniel wins or loses in court, he has poisoned the well.
No Way.
Cockroach has done illegal things here, he and boss Hogg gined up black people by lying about Mcdaniel being a racist, and talking that he would cut off all their welfare programs.
The GOPe poisoned the well with lies, dirty campaigning and paying for Dems to vote in the GOP primary.
I have never seen a dirtier election.
So many remain silent on this, which means they were part of it. Phil Bryant, the NRSC,Reince Peckerhead, on down to small town mayors all over the state. Conservatives can’t trust no one. If Cochran is on the ballot I am voting Travis Childers this November
Poster Viennacon posted this in a number thread.
The election results need to be challenged immediately in court without the election being validated.
It is unclear that the treacherous Barbour/Cochran camp is able to wait to the last minute to do this (November to validate the election).
McDaniel won the earlier primary by a plurarity over Cochran.
Perhaps the Sore Loser Thad Cochran lost the Republican Primary and there the runoff is being hotly contested.
So at this point, Chris McDaniel should be on the November ballot (or this could be taken to court).
Perhaps it takes a few RINOs losing seats for the GOPe leaders to realize we got the numbers even though they got the cash. They need us - the grass roots workers and 90% of Republican voters who aren’t country clubbers — to win.
My thoughts were similar early on. No point in being a ‘sore loser’ or challenging as it can’t be proven, even though Rats obviously crossed over to help Thad steal it.
But here there are voter roles where you can clearly see someone voted in the Democrat primary and showed up and voted in the Republican run off.
Find 6,900 of those and it’s a slam dunk that the election results are in question as MS law prohibits that.
If Thad doesn’t run (rumors are he won’t) in a re-election situation, McDaniel is into the general against the Democrat.
Now, how many Republicans would again cross over and vote for the Democrat or not vote at all who would have otherwise voted Republican should McDaniel make the general election? No idea.
Either way, I’d imagine it’s an uphill battle for ANY Republican at this point in a statewide election.
They will be here begging for our votes in November.
Then I guess the "poisoning of the well" surely wasn't when McConnell and crew thew their weight behind a senile incumbent rather than support a candidate who will actually vote according to the party platform. It wasn't when Rove and crew started flinging charges of racism at a fellow Republican. It wasn't when the Cochran campaign started soliciting Democrats. It wasn't when they stooped to buying votes. No, McDaniel "poisoned the well" when he protested illegal votes in a race that he likely won legitimately.
Are you insane?
McDaniel should never ever ever give up.
Very well said. I think this guy is a troll.
We need a can of raid for cockroach.
So many great replies to your baseless comment, no need for me to add a thing.
