MSM says GOP tsunami means voters are choosing ‘none of the above’
The Washington Times ^ | November 2, 2014 | Joseph Curl

To America’s mainstream media, the midterm elections are a choice between bad and worse.

Here’s why, by their reasoning: No one — repeat no one — in their right mind could ever vote for Republicans, so clearly the country’s voters are so disengaged and dissatisfied that they couldn’t care less about who wins.

No less an MSM icon than “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd has said so in an NBC News piece last week titled “None of the Above: Voters Are Holding Their Noses at the Polls.”

The lead says: “If anything sums up voters’ attitudes about this election, it’s these two newspaper endorsements that essentially admit, ‘We dislike both of these candidates, but if we had to pick one.’”(continued)

Reminds me of when the Packers kill the Bears and the Bears fan say it was a close game, and Cutler played better than Rodgers.

More accurately, the GOP tidal wave means “Not 0bama.”

That’s all.

Republicans (excepting Ted Cruz) have put forward no program for which people should vote.

To me, it means saying (more like shouting) no to Obama.

And to the RATS who stay home (helped with bad weather on Tuesday, Thank You Lord) it is a non-expressed vote of No Confidence.

“To me, it means saying (more like shouting) no to Obama.”

Their programs and policies are lies, they lie about their agenda all the time.

They MUST lie about this too, just to be consistent in saying that their commonsense, reasonable ideas are loved by the American people just as much as their politicians are loved.

Ideas so wonderful they must be MANDATORY FOR ALL!

The denial of reality from the wanna-be communists is so rock solid you can almost walk on it.

...and “none of the above” exhibits the same calibration error noted elsewhere, registering the vote as “I still want my Democrat goodies,” of course.

Well said. And absolutely, rock-solidly true.

My wife got up out of her sickbed, with a combination of MS and the flu, in order to do early voting yesterday, the one day both our grown daughter and I could take her—and we voted as well. Each one of us cast six votes against Barack Obama, one in each of the six contests—including two Republicans we had never heard of.

And to pre-empt the trolls: it had nothing to do with race, and everything to do with ideology. In fact, one of the votes was against the whitest white person on the ballot, so white he has to fake tan himself: Charlie Crist.

Don't be intimidated by blacks calling you "wacist". After 6 years of Obama, Martin Luther King would become a raving Klansman.

It is a fact that Republicans are not popular either. Polls show this, but right now they are less disliked than Obama. I’ll take it. But long term Republicans are going to have to fix this.

When are rich republicans like the Koch’s and Adelson going to take controlling shares in the likes of CNN and MSNBC or Disney, GE. Then the staff of producers and talent can be fired and replaced by more conservative GOP friendly reporters. Isn’t ever going to happen by itself.

Look their rating at these networks is in the toilet and they won’t understand that the public knows they are lying and defending the Dems in the face of IRS, OBAMCARE, F&F, Benghazi, VA scandals etc. It seems short of these networks folding fiscally they won’t ever change on their own.

"No one — repeat no one — in their right mind could ever vote for Republicans,"

I don't see how liberal-progressives that spend so little time in their right minds could come to that conclusion.

Why invest in something that is a dying dinosaur anyway? First of all Adelson is not “that rich” in the first place. He can make a lot of noise with his money but that is all. Just ask Newt that question.

The Koch’s are doing a masterful job of dispelling the DNC bobbleheads by their current run of commercials just like some oil companies have done to counter the know nothing left. They hope to let Americans know they are more than just a name the Dems like to assault in their Alinski tactics to discredit.
