Liberals powerless to stop the Clinton-Wall Street gravy train.
Despite her best efforts and most passionate gesticulations, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) failed to shut down the government on Thursday, thus proving her political clout is vastly inferior to that of GOP colleague Ted Cruz.
Warren had urged House Democrats to block a controversial spending package, which included a provision to roll back a portion of the Dodd-Frank financial reform bill known as the swaps pushout rule. Warren, for the record, does not like Wall Street.
It is time for all of us to stand up and fight, she said on the Senate floor. In the end, more than 50 House Democrats supported the spending package, which was also backed by the White House.
Warren, who many consider to be the Democratic frontrunner in 2016 should Joe Biden stay out of the race, specifically attacked Citigroup, the financial firm who helped write the pro-Wall Street provision. As it turns out, Citigroup is one of the most generous supporters of Hillary Clintons political career. The firm has paid Bill Clinton hundreds of thousands of dollars to for speeches. Shots fired, as they say....

As primary values go....I just don’t see how Senator Warren would appease or pep-up the folks in Iowa. She might pick up a dozen states down the line, but Iowa is a impossible task if you ask me about Warren’s odds. Course, Hillary didn’t really thrill the Iowa primary crowd either.
That's all it takes. Ask Obola.
Howard Dean had them buffaloed for a time, but he’s a better retail politician than either of them, to say the least. Iowans, as a general rule, are pretty moderate to conservative, but the Democratic Party there is akin to Wisconsin and Minnesota’s with a pretty radical core. Plus there’ll be a large contingent of Chicago, Madison, St Louis/Kansas City and Denver lefties on the ground. Fauxcahontas may inspire some “clean for Gene” volunteer types with her socialist message. And don’t forget all the college feminists who may show up.
Hellery is as much a left wing radical (read: Communist) as Fauxcahontas. The lapdog media are trying to draw a distinction only to make PIAPS look “moderate.” And let’s not be misled - Krusty Occupant’s Wall Street Allies are her *FJB* Wall Street Allies. Blecch!
...the media's read of the two demonstrates an unquestionable slant. Both senators have shaken up the Senate over heavy spending and regulation. When Warren does it, she's promoted as a profile in courage, standing up for fairness. When Cruz does it, he's a selfish brat causing meltdowns... Look for this pattern throughout the 2016 campaign. The Partisan Media Shills *need* both Hitlery and Warren, just as they *needed* Hitlery and Zero -- because then the *real* race can be framed as being between these two formidable Democrats, oh, and by the way, here's a single sound byte from the latest Right-publican candidates' debate, seven or eight of 'em, what a freak show!
I hope it’s Hillary, Warren would be much tougher to beat IMO.
Mr. Boteach said, "You are arguably the strongest US Senator when it comes to Israel. But if you run, can you win? You're seen as a champion of the tea party. And the media tends to caricature."
Mr. Cruz replied, "Historically, the media has had two caricatures of Republicans. We are either stupid or evil... Reagan was stupid, according to the media. George W. Bush, Dan Quayle, stupid. Nixon was evil, Cheney was evil. I sort of take it as a backhanded compliment that they've invented a new caricature for me -- crazy. At the end of the day, that caricature doesn't trouble me because it's fundamentally false. The American people have a history of making up their own minds."

Be sure to read (a very long) comment on ‘Hillarium). It’s brilliant.

BREAKING NEWS!!!! by Rational Db8; Hillariumologist, PhD Nuclear Politics
The heaviest element known to science was recently discovered by investigators at a major U.S. research university. The new element has been named Hillarium. The chemical symbol of Hillarium is Bs.
Hillarium has no protons or electrons and thus has an atomic number of 0. However, it does have one neutron, 125 assistant neutrons, 75 vice neutrons and 111 assistant vice neutrons, which gives it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by a force that involves the continuous exchange of meson-like particles called morons.
I disagree.
Hillary is a Stalinist. Princess Liawatha is not.
What they may voluntarily turn out for is full time Jobs Jobs Jobs, which is something that
"for the last six years" has been vacant.
Low oil prices came to early Imo because Obama will still be fighting against
our economy and stifling it into exhaustion. Low fuel is a great prelude to a revival
provided our leaders cut all that spending and regulation, Regulation, REGULATION.
Really, how hard is it to leave us alone and let our economy flourish and Americans prosper.
Every day there's something the Government is doing to prevent our growth. Such a waste.
If Hillary is going to run (and I’m not so sure she will), I want her to have one or more tough opponents in the primaries. If she has to fight for the nomination, she will not be able to control the narrative in the debates, resulting in a number of ill conceived, eyebrow raising remarks (”we must have empathy for our enemies.”) There will be plenty of opportunities for people to see the real Hillary in the heat of the battle for the nomination. Otherwise, if there is no real opposition, they can carefully script her appearances (like her ‘listening tour” the last time around) in order to minimize the chances of her saying or doing anything that will make her look bad.
