Soetoro is your typical gangbanging Chicago street thug. He should be in prison not out on the streets terrorizing Americans.

Given the president’s comments, his executive actions might be best viewed as a way of setting the agenda for the 2016 election.

Wouldn't that make him a bully?

This means that things aren’t going to get any easier for the Republican Party.

'Eff the ease of the GOPe!

Obama has assumed dictatorial powers. Where is the outrage?

There is little time to save the remnants of our republic.

Article V. There is no alternative.

“....and squeeze every last little bit of change and improvement in the lives of ordinary Americans and middle-class families that I can.”

STOP TRYING TO HELP!!!!!!!!!
Just knock it off already, no honest person appreciates what you’ve done and most likely plan to do.

Boehner: “I’ll drink to that. *sniffle*”

Just what opposition is the First Dictator referring to? I haven’t seen any from the Weeper of the House or the Majority Turtle as they roll over and play dead until the next election.

Any more Obama change and improvement for middle class families and there won’t be a middle class.

“squeeze every last little bit of change and improvement in the lives of ordinary Americans and middle-class families that I can.”

Median household income is down under Obama and a record percentage of working age people do not have jobs. The economic recovery under O has been about half as strong as growth during the Reagan, Bush 2, and Clinton administrations.

I’m busy and don’t pay attention to everything out of DC. But do our fearless Republican leaders have any cogent plan for generating economic growth and jobs?

Out here in flyover country, everyone with a smidgeon of sense knows the economy is in the crapper. But I don’t think anyone knows what the Republicans would do differently.

Let’s be realistic: Obama knows he do whatever he wants for three reasons: (1) He’s black, (2) the Republicans don’t have 67 votes in the Senate for impeachment, and (3) if Republicans cut off his funds they will be blamed by the media for the resulting government shutdown.

The media is very powerful and has created a no win situation for the Republicans. Of course, the weak Republican leadership is a contributing factor.

This situation helps hide the looming financial default by the Feds. If world governments fail to keep interest rates close to 0% the debt service will make all of the other issues moot.

"but part of my goal is also to restore a sense of possibility in our politics and our government ..."

Wow. A "Sense of Possibility". Can you image how wonderful it would be to live in a world like that, a world where we all thought things were actually "possible"? Gee Mr. Prez, can you actually do that?

Does anyone know if Obama actually has a speechwriter and advisers or does just make this stuff up on the fly?

"And one of the things I am absolutely determined to do over the next two years is not just consolidate the gains that we’ve made, not just move forward on new initiatives like free community colleges for young people around the country who need to be trained for the 21st-century economy, but part of my goal is also to restore a sense of possibility in our politics and our government. And in some cases, that means challenging folks who are practicing the worst kind of cynical politics, and a politics based on fear rather than hope. In some cases, it’s going to be finding areas of cooperating with Republicans. In either case, we’re going to need people like you to support these ongoing efforts.

I really wonder if Obama actually believes the pablum that flows off his tongue...

This could easily be mistaken for satire...

Yeah, nice article. Trouble for the GOP? I suppose, but only in the sense that the majority of Americans have grown to despise this President and his party and the Republicans seem unwilling to stop them. Instead, the Republicans are satisfied to do nothing and let Obama continue to self destruct. That would be nice if he wasn’t taking the country with him. So yes, trouble for the Republicans in that the worse and more arrogant (read despised) this guy gets the more pressure on the Republicans to do something to stop him other than to run out the clock.

Memo to the democrats, Mr. Teleprompter will not be on the ballot next time but his policies will. Not even Hillary and he plethora of fake accents and perv hubby backed by the mass media machine will be able to overcome that.
