It’s not a crisis when it’s all hooey.
It wasn't meaningless when Trump was ahead. Trump has to get very specific about what he can accomplish that Dr. Carson cannot. Because at this point Carson is riding Trump's "outsider" status and getting support. Trump has to hit Dr. Carson HARD about illegal immigration and any of those other issues where Dr. Carson is no conservative.

I’m watching Fox News, and today, Trump has dropped nationally to second place behind Carson. We’ll see how Trump takes this new national poll.

One sign their strategy may be working:

I am for Cruz, but Trump I will vote for. I am really sorry to see Carson
gaining ground. He is not what people think.
Both Trump and Carson are democrats at heart but I fear Carson is as radical and unstable as Obama in many of the same ways.
If Trump’s numbers are so bad why are his subscribers on twitter going up by about 50,000 per day?
Not a single candidate can approximate this kind of performance not even Hillary.
Yeah, Erickson, no Republican can win the nomination without Iowa, right? Just ask the most recent Iowa winners, Huckabee and Santorum.
This is a New York Times/CBS national poll. Trump is second at 22% and Carson first at 26%. Trump has now said there are polls all over the place, so he is discounting this one.
Wolf Blitzer, CNN, just announced this poll and Ben Carson will be on shortly with Wolf. (I may have misspelled “Wolf” as I don’t know how he spells it.)
