Trump is a political genius. This is an issue most folks agree with Trump on and it exposes the elites as America-hating globalists.

I have been told that "Pollack Jokes" first originated when the Poles put up a stiff resistance to German invasion. It was used as a propaganda tool to demoralize their populace and demean their efforts to oppose the German invasion.
I think something similar has happened as a result of the Civil War. I think the poor stupid hick characterization of the Conquered South was deliberate, and intentionally spread as propaganda, and I think the tendency to keep circulating this sort of propaganda has been inherited by the subsequent populace in various areas.
The fanbase of the NFL are the red state Trump voter working class folks. This was a business suicide decision.
This is something that I would have presumed would have been visible to all the business offices of the NFL, yet they seem oblivious. I guess they've ridden so high for so long, they think they are now invincible, as did the conquering Roman Heroes in their parades. They needed someone whispering in their ear, but apparently they didn't have anyone.
I would expect the hostility between urban and rural to continue and escalate.
Which it seems to be doing.
With one round of nukes, North Korea could make America Republican for decades to come as the most likely targets would be large cities. Even Los Angels and New York blown off the map would make us significantly more conservative.
Yes it would, but at a terrible cost. I think if we could just get a conservative network up and running, we might be eventually able to move the nation towards conservatism without so much tragedy.
But I have long said that Conservatism is the reality based philosophy, and tragedy will tend to make people more conservative. It is our prosperity that has made so many of us Liberal.
