The percentage of Democrats who say they would vote for former Vice President Joe Biden if the presidential race were held tomorrow slipped by 10 points after the first primary debate.
According to a Morning Consult/FiveThirtyEight poll of likely Democratic voters released on Friday, 41.5 percent said before the debates they would vote for Biden tomorrow, but 31.5 percent said the same thing after Thursday night's debate.
The apparent decline in support comes after Biden was widely seen as having faltered, including engaging in a stark exchange with Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) over school busing.
Harris herself got a nearly 9 point bump, with 16.6 percent of Democrats saying they would support her after the debate, up from 7.9 percent before the events.

Hard to believe that 10% of the Democrats switched from Biden (-10%) to Harris (+9) because of the debate. No other candidate gained or lost support because of the debates?

With her baggage I don’t see her going anywhere. All I know is Trump is our nominee and when this clown show comes to Texas, we have an open primary and I’m surely voting for Crazy Bernie. I see Biden going down because HOPEFULLY at some time a real journalist will ask him about Hunter, Ukraine and China. Following Joe’s fall and Harris’s mishaps with Willie Brown and as DA and AG in Calif she has a lot of problems when they press her on these issues. My thing is who is Bernie gonna pick as his VP. I think a Bernie Trump debate would be like a Republican SNL skit.

Agree. Of all of the Rats, Tulsi seemed smartest. She does have baggage though, thanks to her personal call on Assad when she visited Syria during the stupid Pelosi trip. Pelosi didn’t authorize it, so girl fighting ensued.
And as someone here pointed out, she was born in the territory of American Samoa so is a citizen but not eligible to run for president.

I thought the best candidate was Andrew Yang and so did my raving Dem neighbor. Yang only got 3 m minutes to speak but was hugely better than everyone else.

I saw a cartoon some time ago that’s escaped my archive. It’s Biden staring out the window of the Oval Office and Obola is on the phone. Obama says : “Yeah, stop the ice cream truck, Joe heard the music!” Really fits doesn’t it! Just a smarmy dumb$hit!
