Rush Limbaugh: Democrats and media already experiencing 'blowback' over attacks on Trump

Conservative radio talk show Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday that Democrats are already experiencing "blowback" for taking aim against President Trump, including their push for impeachment following allegations concerning the president's phone call with the president of Ukraine.

"Why is Trump at 50 percent, up to 53 now in Rasmussen? The blowback is happening. They just don’t see it," Limbaugh said on his radio show Wednesday, citing recent numbers in a poll often cited by the president.

Democrats initiated an impeachment inquiry Tuesday, following the whistleblower's complaint that Trump had improperly pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden.

Limbaugh accused the media and Democrats of being "ignorant" when it comes to people who support the president.

"Their media is not telling them about blowback. Their media isn’t reporting what people who disagree with them are saying or doing," Limbaugh said. "They’re ignorant of it."

Is it not too soon to look at polls as showing disagreement over impeachment? It was just this week they announced, and today is Wednesday.

I am absolutely livid. I was incredibly angry over the way the President was treated. And then there was Kavenaugh attack 1 & 2. This latest foreign collusion charge is just way too much. I am motivated for the 2020 elections.

Democrats already know the majority is against impeachment. Democrats say he must be impeached for whatever reason or he “could” (will) win again in 2020. The public supports him in the majority.

Focus on primarying all the Repukes Senators who are up for reelection in 2020. Force them to the right so they donty get wobly. I’m not seeing a lot of public push back by Repukes Senators....why is Sasse not being challenged?!?

Rush is saying the media is not reporting the blowback but the democrat members are feeling the heat from voters calling in like you did.

Reports are coming out now that democrats that went out on a limb and supported impeachment met with Pelosi and gave her hell they were hearing from voters in their districts.
