RNC Building ‘Army’ of GOP Poll Workers After Decades-Long Court-Ordered Hiatus

The Republican National Committee is ramping up presence at the polls this year by enlisting thousands of workers ahead of the midterms, an operation it legally could not run for 40 years prior to 2018.

“If elections are the cornerstone of democracy, then transparent and secure elections are one of the most important offerings that the RNC can have,” RNC spokeswoman Danielle Alvarez told Breitbart News. “And it happens to be the first cycle that we can get involved and stand up this operation the way that RNC chairwoman [Ronna] McDaniel has envisioned.”

The committee however, unlike the Democratic National Committee (DNC), was prohibited under a 1982 consent decree from engaging in certain aspects of the election process — such as recruiting its own people to monitor polls on Election Day — up through December 2017, when the decree expired.

The consent decree was the result of a settlement with the DNC after the DNC sued its Republican counterpart for allegedly intimidating voters in predominantly Democrat areas of New Jersey during the state’s ultra-tight 1981 gubernatorial contest, as reported at the time by the Herald-News.

How does that stop a truckload of 1,000,000 ballots being dropped off?

Yep.

What happens in New Jersey ... etc.

As County Committee members, we were automatically designated as poll watchers, and could still act as poll watchers, but not a single Pubbie official, whether national, state, county-based, Congressional-district-based, municipal, or local-voting-precinct-based, ever lifted a finger or provided a whisper of guidance as to how to perform the function effectively or as a team.

The story of this consent decree that only went away a few years ago is perhaps the most underreported political story of the last decade. I am flabbergasted it went on so long. Opposing election fraud became almost completely atrophied in the Republican Party, with disastrous consequences in 2020.

Everyone here needs to do their part as election observers every cycle going forward, or we’ll never get out from the institutionalized fraud them Dems developed during the consent decree period.

To have enough to cover Dem polling locations.

To be informed as to how to reject unlawful orders from those pretending to run the location.

If you enjoy being defeatist, just go hide in your hole.

“How does that stop a truckload of 1,000,000 ballots being dropped off?”

Monitoring chain of custody in real time.

That was the difference in VA during the last election; instead of 30% of the poll watchers being republican, there was a 110% republican poll watcher participation. They could not sneak items into the process.

Result: GOP Governor, Lt. Governor and AG victory.

Moral of the story: BE A POLL WATCHER IN YOUR AREA. LEARN THE PROCESS AND ENFORCE IT IN 2022 AND BEYOND!

The worst thing the GOP ever did to our country was enter into that Consent Decree that prevented them from even monitoring elections, much less contesting fraudulent voting. I’m glad the consent decree was finally dismissed. It will take decades to undo the harm that consent order imposed on our country. It allowed the democrats to cheat at will and then yell “but the Consent Order!” if anyone on the right ever spoke up about their actions.

We need to embed ourselves in every aspect of voting from local to federal just as Democrats have done.

Let's hope this is the beginning of a real effort to get involved.

Democrats have rigged the system. It's time to unrig it and document everything they're doing behind the scenes.

People on FR constantly say Conservatives don’t push back, I consider what I’m doing as part of the pushback, the Election of Glenn Youngkin is a perfect example of election pushback over 90% of the precincts in Virginia had Republican poll watchers compared to 30-40% the previous election, either some of these people are just talk or they want to take up arms and fight neither option right now is a winning option

To accomplish nothing.

An army of volunteer poll workers were instrumental in Youngkin’s win in Virginia.

We can’t cry about election fraud while doing nothing to stop it.

“An operation it legally could not run for 40 years prior to 2018.”

Of course, they could’ve done this for the 2020 Presidential Election, but they accomplished their goal of installing Biden.

They actually had a bunch of Poll Watchers and Lawyers for the Youngkin Election and the Democrats magically lost 800,000 voters. This was in an election where they had every heavy hitter visit the state and spent countless millions to get the vote out.

If someone watches the polls, mail-in ballots, and shows up to monitor early voting sites the Dems will lose millions upon millions of voters.
