Ya mean just like every Democrat has done?

~~~
Yep. Democrats take office and immediately the hatches start flying left and right. The media? Crickets.
Trump comes in and tries to remove the AG or someone like that, and suddenly the media is asking why do it unilaterally? “THere should be a process! OMG “
*reads* “The impact could go well beyond typical conservative targets such as the Environmental Protection Agency and the Internal Revenue Service.”
*adjusts glasses* *reads again*
*jaw drops*
Me: The IRS.....the IRS.......OMG THEY’RE GOING TO GET RID OF THE IRS!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! *hyperventilates* *jumps up, starts running back and forth like a “benny hill” vid*
*falls dramatically onto knees*
*clasps hands*
Jesus: *from the next room* You’re not going to mock-pray now, are you?
Me: *quickly gets up* Uh, no. *brushes off knees* Of course not!
his “America First” ideology ..... the Left writes that as if it’s a bad thing.
I spent a few years in Baghdad, working for the State Dept. Other than the Dept of Education, if there’s one entity in the federal government that needs to go it is the State Dept. For numbers sake, if there are 1000 employees of the State Department, about 985 loathe the United States of America. Nothing but liberal college kids, who get jobs because of their family members and legacy appointments or where they went to school. They get overseas postings in socialist countries, but rather than live the life of one of the people in those countries, they live like the aristocrats and high ranking government officials. Their kids go to schools that run about $30k a year. They live in the best neighborhoods. And all they have to pay for is their groceries and phone service, but with cell phones and Skype, that doesn’t matter.
The State Dept is a relic, a dinosaur, from a time when it took months or weeks to get somewhere around the globe. A time when the telegraph may as well have been like traveling on a Millenium Falcon. Now, you can talk to someone half way around the world on your iPhone, like they were across town. They have encrypted communication equipment that government leaders can talk to one another without anyone listening.
No need for massive embassies and all the liberal American Hating staff that goes with them.
President Trump, in his first campaign, said a mouthful when he spoke of State Dept officials negotiating trade deals, giving away the farm, because not a one of them had any business sense and why he was going to bring in the sharks from Wall St. People he said were so mean that you wouldn’t invite them into your house for dinner, but they’d get the best deals possible for the USA.
That would be the first place I’d start and let that be the YUGE...Shot Across the Bow....to the rest of the federal government, as he turned them all into Schedule F employees and sent them packing.
They couldn’t strip away enough layers of these leftist barnacles to please me. Eliminate the Dept. of Education, “Civil Rights” Division of the InJustice Dept., HUD, HHS, sunset Social Security (those 18 and younger not to be signed up, older ones who have contributed but haven’t reached age of retirement to receive prorated benefits, those fully vested receive full amount of promised benefits), eliminate foreign welfare, abolish “Patriot Act”, etc.
A friend told me that his connections indicate that the
nearest sewage pit couldn’t be eliminated period. Too
much need by both the Democrats and Republicans and
not enough independent thinkers to make a difference.
Isn’t this what EVERY President does when they come to office?
Maybe this time around he will get the firings done, and perhaps even hire replacements and White House aides that aren’t two-faces lying pieces of s^^t libs that say they are conservative.
WOW! This is music to my ears!
First we need a massive purge of all the 3 letter agencies.
Then we need to start dismantling the Swamp. What does that mean? Send homeland security to Amarillo, Texas. Send agriculture to Iowa. Send the IRS to rural Wyoming. etc etc. Disperse various departments around the country. Do not let them congregate to form a central hub. The very fact that typical Swamp Creatures will recoil in horror at the idea of living in those places is a feature, not a bug. That means they will be less inclined to work for those agencies. Win-Win!
Pass a law that bars any military officer from working for or getting paid by a defense contractor for at least 10 years after his retirement. Abolish the department of Education. Eliminate the DC Circuit of the federal courts. Eliminate DC’s ability to affect national affairs by shrinking the federal district to just a very small area with the capital building, the White House and national monuments. Give the rest to Maryland which is already a hopeless anyway.
The Swamp has proven it is not capable of administering equal justice under law so the power to administer justice must be taken away from them.
A major reduction in the federal bureaucracy is overdue.
I read the article. It was long-winded.Disappointing.
No government retiree should earn more than $50k/yr. I’t take it down to $30k.
That’s exactly what needs to happen. Spread the federal government agencies throughout all 50 states. For example, move the Department of Agriculture to Nebraska. The Department of Energy to Alaska or Texas. Get rid of ALL the Bolshevik employees (fire them or better yet, execute them by lethal injection, we know who they are Merrick Garland). Turn all of Washington DC into a park. The administrative state MUST be destroyed, root and branch.
'radically reshape the federal government if he is re-elected, purging potentially thousands of civil servants and filling career posts with loyalists to him and his "America First” ideology"
YES!
SAVE THE USA FROM DESTRUCTION!
MAGA!
MAKE SURE TRUMP IS RE-ELECTED!
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT'S NEEDED TO SAVE AMERICA!
but it gives me renewed hope for the future!
Me too. I read it thinking: "Trump has finally learned its total war with the swamp, and doesn't expect to merely tame it through the force of his personality."
I have a question...
If congress sends a budget that allocates 100 billion for the, lets say, epa....
Does he have to spend all 100 billion?
Or can he just spend a portion of that 100 billion?
A quick way to reduce the size of fedzilla
