Please support the National Republican Senatorial Committee in its campaign to TAKE BACK THE SENATE! If Republicans were in charge of the Senate CFR would not have passed, the Pickering nomination and others would have been approved, and we would have passed an Energy Bill with ANWR drilling approved just to name a few things that a daschle led Senate has obstructed and on CFR rushed through!

The following is the corrected URL from the site for Sound Off:

What measures would you take to ensure President Bush's judicial nominees are confirmed in a timely manner. Sound off at

There's only one thing to do. Republicans must retake the Senate. There's no if's, and's or but's about it! Allowing Daschle and Daschle-crats to remain in charge, isn't an option. If Daschle would have allowed a floor vote by the full Senate, Judge Pickering would have been approved. Some tactical moves by minority leader Lott, will not get Bush's nominees approved in a timely manner.

Would slapping a few Dems. around be considered out of order? Or, from now on whenever a Democrat makes a statement, an accusation, a promise, a claim, on talk shows, news shows, TV sets, movie sets, responds to an article, an event, a fundraiser, a policy...to the press and to the cameras Republicans at all times should simply give the reporter the narrow-eyed Rummy look and say to the Democrats, "Bunk." Or we could drive them nuts by repeating their statements back to them. (You cut it out!). Sorry, long day. (^:

You are so right -- Taking Back the Senate is the only way to get conservative judicial nominations approved. This election is so important!

Last time the GOP controled the House, Senate and executive branch for more than a few months, I couldn't read yet (had trouble walking too). Once in my life I would like to see and read about it.

Been reading the type of majorities FDR, LBJ and Carter needed to get liberalism up and rolling. They were astounding. In 1979, Democrats had more of a majority in the House than the GOP had seats.

What's more astounding is that JFK...spoke and acted more like a conservative...than most elected conservatives today.

Yup. If JFK ran today, Dashcle would be calling him "out of the mainstream" and an "extremist".

Agreed! The beauty of doing this would only be inhanced by the fact that since Daschle and company have been so ruthless regarding the republicans fair chance to operate in the Senate that the next Republican majority leader could just leave the same rules in place that Daschle used and turn the tables on the Democrats and use their own tactics against them.

I think more simply put... the phrase goes "Turn-about is fair play."?
