If things don't go well on Nov. 5th for the GOP, it won't be because the President didn't try. :-)

Mr. Bush is expected to stop in San Diego before returning to Texas.

Did anyone notice this little tidbit? What could possibly be of interest in San Diego? I mean, Gray Davis is a lock to win, right? [wink]

It's nice to see the White House hasn't given up on New Jersey, like several around here have. "Incumbent" Lautenberg is stuck in the mid 40s, folks. Republicans are angry. Forrester can win this race!

A nice look at which races the White House views as worthy of the President's time during these final weeks.

Saw the tidbit, hope it's true! San Diego is a swing county, and also hits the S. Cal media market. It would be a good thing.

Still I wish he would come up North (like north of Sacramento) to rally our base. Of course, he has to go where the numbers are, but the Republicans in the great north are SOLID Republican voters.

Go Bush! Go Simon!

The last poll I saw was a Survey USA one from last week showing Grayout up by 15 points. I don't believe that margin, but even if you do Gray was still sitting at only 48%. [giggle] There were two subsequent articles a day apart discussing that Simon was within 3-6 points, and the White House was planning another visit if he maintained or closed that margin. I think the above schedule reinforces the belief that Simon can still win CA.

I tried to find a website for those polls with no success. I would be interested in the samples and margin of error.
18 days and counting...Simon needs to flood the airwaves!

SurveyUSA has some of the craziest poll results I've seen this cycle. Their latest results show Cornyn with a bigger lead than Perry, which flies in the face of EVERY other poll taken which has shown Perry with the bigger lead.

They have other crazy numbers. I am not calling bias.. the bad numbers seem to effect both the rats and GOP. I think their methodology is bad.

I just saw a story on TV which said the NAA"l"CP is sending 50 people to south florida to be poll supervisors. To watch and make sure the republicans don't tamper with the election.

1. Its cold up north and miami has nice weather in November. (Time to party for the watchers when not watching)

2. Miami just agreed to spend 95,000.00 for their own third party watching service.

3. No one is such watching efforts are announced in Broward. (Those missing 18 voting machines are still disturbing, how difficult would it be to have machines with identical serial numbers? To swap out during transport from the polling place? Machine A goes into the trunk and Machine B comes out. Machine A and B have identical serial numbers)
