Not a bad idea Lone. So have you begun to circulate this theory yet? Should I get the tinfoil out now?

IIRC, Court TV was contacted by some Freepers. It was probably around mid-Sept., but I don't remember what the response was. It was on the 5000+ Terri thread. No harm in contacting them again, though.

That is exactly what I was thinking!

If they would just treat her like a manatee it would be better than she's getting now.

Does anyone know about the Schindlers attorney?
I'm about to go bonkers trying to figure why he/she has not been in the news!!!

I know it's hard to change horses in the middle of the stream..............but somethings got to give with their attorney!!!

All feelings aside, the girl has got to have some representation!!!

Her parents need one WITH ATTITUDE!!!

Every alligator and manatee in Florida is better supported!

You will be arrested, if one of them is even threatened with harm!

I still need addresses. I have reached a dead end in emailing. I am exhausted and I cannot seem to send one without an error. I don't know how to remove names from the addresses once I have attempted to send and it won't go. And I am WAY too tired to try and do a half dozen at a time.

>>>why the heck haven't there been more lawyers step up to the plate to help with Terri's case? Face time, name recognition, publicity, public support....what would they have to lose?

Gloria Allred's busy.
Marcia Clark couldn't nail OJ.
It's not our decision anyway, but a known face would help get natl attention, and that can only be good for Terri.

Ya' Think??!!
He's probably not even worried about 'insurance' money, 'malpractice' money or any other awards at this point. A 'Book Deal' is, without doubt, already in the works with 'Screen Play Rights' to follow... The longer this goes on...the better the "Story"

AND... the longer she survives, the longer he waits to collect. (can't finish the story without her death).

This is one sick individual.

I don't know how! I do have some minor connections to less mainstream media, such as Coast to Coast. But, I think it would be much more valuable if relevant excerpts of Felos' book made their way to mainstream media. Even if no conspiracy theory were spun (save the tinfoil!), Felos' own words are obviously whacky and paint him as a total nutcase. When he's holding all these press conferences, I'd love to see an abc/msnbc/cnn reporter ask him about those words. Any suggestions of how to get Felos' book stuff to someone in the media?

I contacted The Rutherford Institute in Virginia but didn't place the call in time. They are into civil rights and disability and religious freedom. If someone has phenn's e-mail, we could send our questions and concerns to her. She's the PR lady for the Schindlers and posts on FR. I've pinged her to this thread.

Was just doing a google search on Michael and fiancee and came across this little blurb....

"A Bucks County, Pennsylvania newspaper on July 2, 1997, reported Michael's mother's death, "survived by Michael and fiancee' Jodi" Centonze. There's no mention of his WIFE Terri."

Can anyone verify...Talk about in your face, like we haven't seen enough. And this apparently was before Felos got on board and the "right to kill" Terri became an issue. You think that would have been a hot potato proving his loyalties were not with Terri.

I got this from:

Look bottom, right hand side frame.

There's no way I can keep up with all these threads & posts to read who has posted what.

Even though the matter of the Constitution has been discussed, I want you to read the following article from today's Arizona Republic newspaper, because of the serious questions it raises, the repercussions - and that, ultimately, the court will once again pull Terri's tube.

How much of The Bill of Rights & States' Rights are we going to trash to save Terri? Have emotions ruled over logic? (In my case, they have.) Do we want to set a precedent that can be used by other states' to bypass their constitutions in the future?

We have a judicial system that, even with its flawed, driven-by-greed lawyers and ego-inflated, often lazy and incompetent judges, is still the finest system in the world.

Together, FReepers have a mind-boggling amount of power. We have the constitutional freedom to personally criticize judges and attorneys openly; and, through legal means, demand a higher court review of Judge Greer's handling and rulings.

As evidenced by what we have accomplished in Florida, we also have the power to change bad laws. And that takes determination - a tremendous amount of studying - a lot of hard work. __________________________________________________________

EXPERTS QUESTIONING FLORIDA RIGHT-TO-LIFE LAW

Legal scholars predicted Wednesday that Gov. Jeb Bush's intervention in a bitter right-to-die case involving a brain-damaged woman will be ruled unconstitutional, and her husband's lawyer angrily complained that the woman was "abducted from her deathbed."

"It is so repugnant to so many provisions of Florida's constitution, we are all certain that it will be overturned," said George Felos, attorney for Michael Schiavo.

Legal scholars also decried the move as an extraordinary end run around the courts.

"In my view, the bill is plainly unconstitutional," University of Florida law Professor Joseph Little said.

Terri Schiavo, 39, has been in a what doctors call a "persistent vegetative state" since 1990, when her heart stopped because of a chemical imbalance. Her eyes are open, but doctors say she has no consciousness.

Her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, have fought to keep her alive and say she still could recover. Michael contends that she told him she would rather die than be kept alive artificially, but her parents said they never heard her say that.

Her feeding tube was removed by court order last Wednesday at the insistence of her husband. The case is one of the nation's longest and most contentious right-to-die cases.

On Tuesday, the Legislature rushed through a bill designed to save Terri's life, and Bush quickly invoked the law and ordered the feeding tube reinserted.

Felos said that Terri suffered signs of organ failure Tuesday and that the reintroduction of fluids after a week without food or water could just make her suffer more.

The Schindlers had complained Wednesday that they had not been allowed by Michael, still their daughter's legal guardian, to see her in the hospital. They got that permission late Wednesday, but she had been taken to the hospice by the time they arrived at the hospital.

Felos said earlier that the woman was quietly dying after the tube was removed and that it was "simply inhumane and barbaric to interrupt her death process."

Legal experts widely agreed that the governor and Legislature went too far.

"This particular administration has not yet understood why we have separation of powers," former Florida Supreme Court Justice Gerald Kogan said. "They seem to believe that the governor and the Legislature can do whatever they want and the courts should not interfere, and that's not right." __________________________________________________________

Most excellent ... and thanks for that. Sorry I haven't been more visible around here lately, but this thing called "work" interferes with my on-line time!

I can't believe the stuff this guy has gotten away with. It's very discouraging.

I've found that when I've worked to exhaustion in regards to Terri (or anything else for that matter), that I'd probably better take a break REAL SOON! My mistakes increase, my frustration level goes up, and generally my productivity goes down. Please give yourself a break, you've earned one my friend. After you've had some down time you will come back more refreshed and ready to tackle the next challenge. Know that others here will help take up the cause for Terri and will do your part for you until you can return. The rest of us can carry on with e-mailing your wonderful letter.

Felos is extremely effective in cranking up the media spin machine. He finds one Florida law professor to say, ""In my view, the bill is plainly unconstitutional", and turns it into "Legal scholars predicted Wednesday that Gov. Jeb Bush's intervention in a bitter right-to-die case involving a brain-damaged woman will be ruled unconstitutional".

I'm sorry. I'm having trouble figuring out who is saying what? Are you stating at the beginning that it was wrong to pass this law?
