Shall we silence the Christians?

Sooner or later, we're going to have to get serious about the war against terrorists.

That means, as painful as it may be for this president or whoever follows after, to take an unflinching look at the enemy, and recognize him for who he is. We should show our own troops the respect we pay to those, such as our Saudi "allies," who only pretend to be our friends.

Amen. We all know the day is coming when they will hunt us down. We're experiencing the beginning echoes of things to come. It grieves me that a supposed Christian betrays us, tho.

Hmm, just confirms most of what I believe is driving the ACLU and other "anti-Christian" groups. G-d forbid that we be able to hold our own beliefs and faith and think outside their secular box.

>>The enlightened elites must stamp out the Christian faith<<

Christianity has all but been stamped out in the U.S. We've done it in our public screwels, we've done it in higher academia (attacks on our Christian forefathers, "B.C." is now "Before Calendars" or B.C.E "Before Calendars Existed"--I forget the A.D. bastardization), tearing down of the Ten Commandments in the public sector, celebration of sodomites on new and existing television shows, and the most notorious (but subtle) attacks from our government under the name of 501C3 tax exemption which has effectively (very much so!) silenced our "preachers" from getting "controversial" in discussing abortion, homosexuality, and fornication. We are, in most cases, looking at a Christian shell in this country. No surprise there!

I believe BCE stands for *before common era*. AD stands for anno domini which is Latin for after death. I think.

Yes, BCE is "Before the Common Era" but AD is Latin for "Year of the Lord." However, that has been PC-ed to CE, "Common Era."

Don't dispair, brother...

While I agree with you that America has become a post-christian nation, the world hated Jesus Christ too. The church has always thrived under persecution.

Let the ACLU, the valueless media, the activist judges, and the atheists do their worst. They are resisting God (never a good idea).

One of two things will happen. Either Jesus will return, or the persecution that we all see coming will drive a huge revival in America. Exciting times either way.....

Someone finally said what has been lacking all along, however, to say this is to invoke a religious war among those of lesser intellect....

It is interesting to listen to all the "chatter" from the mouths of flesh beings.

Seems that the lying liberal elite class are more upset about the General's words than the "killer" terrorists.

Pretty strange that when OBL or Saddam "spirits" out their latest tapes they do it in the name of their god. Seems natural "IF" one believes and is a warrior in this war that it does come down to whose "GOD" will be given the credit for the victory.

I just keep telling myself that Dubya is being diplomatic.
Remember how Will Rogers defined diplomacy?
Diplomacy is the art of saying 'nice doggy' until you can find a rock.

Because don't forget the difference between an Islamist and a Muslim...
An Islamist wants to kill you.
A Muslim merely wants you dead.

In order to be politically correct, historians have changed B.C. to "Before Calendars" or to "B.C.E." Before Calendars Existed (or as you say, "Before Common Era"). They've also bastardized A.D. (Anno Domino-After our Lord) to something else, but I don't remember what it is. Do you know what it is? As soon as I hear any narrator use these politically correct tags, I change the channel.

They can use BCE for all I care, but unless they change the dating system, they still have the Common Era defined through Christ's arrival.

domini is the root of our word "dominion."

It is a reference to the theology regarding the Kingdom (dominion) of God.

Essentially, the beginning of Christ's dominion.
