The Greer appointed examiner of Terri (when five specialists were allowed to examine and present their findings to Greer's court and Greer chose the two chosen by Michael and Felos and the court appointed one who is connected to Felos through the euthanasia movement) spent twenty minutes with Terri and had the session video taped. It was that examiner who passed the Mickey Mouse balloon above Terri's head and commanded her to close her eye, then later to open them. She followed every one of the examiner's commands, so the segment on tape was of the actual exam, not snippets chosen from 4 1/2 hours meant to mischaracterize her actual responses.

This interview is a PR DISASTER for Schiavo.

His POS lawyer is using him to get publicity for his book, and now the entire nation knows his client is a psychotic left wing male nurse with a death fetish who is afraid to take a lie detector test and won't let independent cameras into her room.

I'd be surprised if the Florida Supreme court even takes this case

So clearly you can see how Greer could have run way off the rails of objectivity, and nobody could stop him, so long as there was nothing to prove he had ties to something that would create a bias.

I don't know for a fact that Michael committed adultry prior to Terri's collaspe.

However, I do believe Felos had conflict of interests. He's an attorney.

But everything must be proved.

From what I remember, Michael didn't allow the parents to be party to that experiment nor the results. Well, the FLangaroos and the GOP have this little feud going back some years, you know. But with public fury this hot, and the fact they do run for re-election, maybe they will decline this hot potato. I would, however, expect to see Felos to shoot for the SCOTUS even if that happens.

Right, but you're missing the flip side: that the attorneys for the Schindlers can make up just as much crazy stuff as Felos and Greer do.

And they did- these nutbar accusations of Michael Schiavo assaulting her didn't begin until a few years ago, rather than at the beginning of the whole thing.

And honestly, if my inlaws were acting like them, I'd do everything to make their lives miserable as well, especially stuff like barring them from seeing their daughter.

That's the way I understood it too. I remember one of the doctors saying her heart was strong and healthy -- in fact, it probably got her through her recent ordeal. Can't put my finger on the reference, but I do remember the point being stated with authority.

But then, I've never seen a shred of evidence that she had a heart attack. (If that was it, why did Michael order Terri's medical records sealed?) Nor does it make any sense to posit the heart attack theory (very rare) when far more likely and obvious theories are available. The first and most common explanation is spousal violence, and the known facts -- choke marks and anoxia, broken bones -- support that theory perfectly.

If I have any facts wrong, please correct me.

I'm not sure what kind of electric shock it was, though Michael said it was experimental. Whether this caused her fractures is something that can be checked out.

Couple of points on Larry King Live:
1) When Terri first collapsed, Michael claims he worked late that night ... got home 2:00AM, at 4:30 he awoke to hear a thump and went out to find Terri collapsed in the hall and called 911.
FACT:
Michael did not call 911. He called Terri's father who called 911.

2) Michael claims the "falling out" with Terri's parents occurred on 2-14-03 and it was because the Schindlers wanted Terri's money.
FACT:
The "falling out" occurred because Michael was not providing therapy as promised in the court award. Terri's parents questioned if they provided the care, would the money from the settlement be used to help them out financially - which Michael refused to do.

3) Michael claimed he has provided therapy for Terri after she collapsed. I still need to get the facts on this Bob - but I do know that the care at Bayfront medical and the trip he made with Terri to California was done under the original insurance on Terri - not as part of the therapy he promised to provide for the rest of her life to the courts in 1993.
FACT:
Michael has NEVER provided any therapy after he received the settlement.

4) Michael claimed repeatedly he was following Terri's wishes
FACT:
Michael never mentioned Terri had ANY wishes about witholding medical treatment until AFTER he received the award money from the court in 1993. Subsequently, he began to withold all treatment for Terri - including antibiotics for a UTI (urinary tract infection) and by posting a DNR on her medical charts.

5) Michael claimed that the nurse who testified had a grudge against him because he was so adamant about caring for Terri and he admits he was hard on the nurses.
FACT:
Michael only flew into rages whenever anyone tried to care for Terri properly. (see affadavits from all nurses)

6) Michael claimed that the head nurse who cared for Terri for 4 years never saw any response and that Terri made the same "noises" of response when no one was in the room.
FACT:
How can anyone hear what is said when no one is in the room? In addition, the nurses caring for Terri, her parents and Msgr. Malanowski ALL said Terri responds. Shall we believe Michael or a priest???

7) Michael blamed the parents insistence on letting Terri live on the Right to Life right wing advocates filling their heads
FACT:
The "right wing activists for RTL" never got involved in this case until 2000 - yet Terri's parents have fought for guardianship and Terri's life since 1993. (I can personally testify to this as one of those "right wingers"!)

8) Michael claims 3 swallowing tests were done
FACT:
The barium swallowing test needed to ascertain if Terri can swallow foods has NEVER been done.

9) Michael claimed that 19 judges agreed with them and that the US Supreme Court also agreed with their testimony.
FACT:
This case has been passed from judge to judge to appelate to the Fl Supreme Court back to judge after judge on jurisdiction - not merits of the case. In addition the US Supreme Court refused to hear it - they never agreed with Schiavo.

10) Michael and Felos claimed doctor after doctor testified on their behalf that there is no hope for Terri and she is PVS.
FACT:
13 medical professionals on Terri's behalf (10 doctors, 3 nurses) testified to completely opposite opinions - none of which Judge Greer would hear.

11) One caller asked Michael if he really loved his wife and wanted to respect her wish to die, why didn't he move her to another state where the laws are more liberal, like Oregon, since he is the legal guardian.
RESPONSE:
Michael stumbled furiously and stated that he didn't know if the law would let him.

12) Michael stated that removing the feeding tube would be painless death.
FACT:
Medical experts, including David Stephens, Executive Director of the Christian Medical Association vehemently disagreed and described Terri's death as a slow, painful process.

13) Michael claimed he did the same thing to his own parents...
NO RESPONSE...we are shocked.

14) In viewing the video of Terri, Michael claims this is reflex action, Terri is brain dead, the video was edited down to just pertinent clips...
FACT/RESPONSE:
CNN Larry King then asked if they could go in and film Terri? Response..."You can view the videos we have."... Questioned again..."Could CNN come in there and do their own video to see what is going on? Answer: "NO - IT WOULD VIOLATE HER PRIVACY."

15) CNN asked if Michael would take a lie detector test...Michael said he would have to decline answering that.

Keep this info handy...Michael lied through his teeth!

Please read what Dr. Michael Baden had to say about this - a highly respected pathologist with his own HBO documentary.
Not a chance of a heart attack - she was admitted to the hospital with broken bones, rigid neck, etc. Most likely battered almost to death.
