We could see if there really was some brain experimentation and what typeMy feeling is that Mike would have (secretly?) requested the removal of Terri's brain before having her cremated, anyway.
Maybe Felos and Schiavo might have promised Terri's brain to either
They are two doctors who testified that Terri will never recover.
Case Western has a large grant to study deep brain stimulation.
Deep Brain Stimulation
Developing the technology to treat complicated nervous system disorders requires the brightest minds and significant resources. These worlds are converging now that Case Western Reserve's Department of Biomedical Engineering is teaming with the Cleveland Clinic and the Cleveland Functional Electrical Stimulation Center to study deep-brain stimulation, a technique used to treat movement disorders such as Parkinson's Disease, essential tremor, and tremor due to multiple sclerosis. Case Western Reserve has received more than $1.6 million from the National Institutes of Health to support efforts that could lead to new implant-technology for treating nervous system disorders. Researchers hope to determine exactly which elements of the brain are being activated during deep-brain stimulation, and develop new technologies for selective treatment.

If you'd cut and pasted my entire point (instead of quoting only the parts that suit you, thus misrepresenting my post), ...I didn't misrepresent your post. The rest of your post was essentially unrelated to what I used. All it was was a slam on Terri's supporters.

Baloney.TC: Oh, is this the type of specific debate to which you're referring?
I made no reference to debate. (That's poor debating on your part.) I suggested point by point examination. 'Baloney' was an appropriate response to every point Angry Clam made. It was all nonsense and there was nothing there to debate or examine. If you want to take up his points and debate them go for it.

Probably not related. Looks like he is originally from New York.
I wonder if he would be willing to comment on this case. Hes got all sorts of creditials and his email is on his home page.
http://www.neurology.ufl.edu/Greer/home.html Dr. Greer graduated Magna Cum Laude (with honors) with a BA from the College of Arts and Pure Science, New York University, in 1950 and received his MD in 1954 from New York University. He served his internship and residency from 1954 to 1956 at Bellevue Hospital in NY and was a Fellow in Neurology at the New York Neurological Institute of the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.

Michael basically said...I'm going to honor Terri's wishes AND NOTHING'S GOING TO STOP ME.

I tried to find out more about this society, but there wasn't much. It looks like it is just a Greek organization, but I didn't realize how many of these types of organizations are out there.
Evidently Greeks use these societies to find other Greeks doing business and to find potential employers. They have their own Hellenic Business Directory to target other influential Greeks.

It was
you who told all of us who support TERRI to "butt-out"... So, I told you to butt out of our discussions.
You can go troll someplace else.
By the way, I live in Florda so this an issue that many of us old folks down here are very concerned with.
So, unless you live in Florida... you shouldn't be concerned at all.
To: Modernman
Agree! I think the issue boils down to mike's veracity and his true interests... his own self-interest in seeing this lady dead.
Ah, yes and let us not forget the wack-job mystic-lawyer. He also has such a vested interest in this little ladies death. He makes his money by avocating and supporting euthanasia.
In my opinion, if she didn't write it down, her death wish didn't happen.

Regarding your post #235, I guess that explains why they're so insistent on sticking to the phony terminology. If she is no longer referred to as being in a PVS, then I guess they lose their license to kill her.

Thank you for the extra info. My point is that the media and for a while, Michael and his lawyer, claimed Terri was brain dead.
To me, that means no electrical activity in the brain. Even the simplest of tests, (an EEG) would show whether this is the case or not, and answer the question.
Apparently, the Judge, Michael, and George Felos want to trust George's psyhic and spiritual enfoldment abilities more than any stupid old medical tests.
To: All
Just speculating here, but I wonder if Michael has already tendered a deal through George Felos, to sell Terri's brain to one of the aforementioned institutes and that is his hidden reason for wanting to get this over with.

Just came on and am working backwards. Bumpity-bump to #244! Thanks!
