The Righties: ( There are more conservative celebrities than you ever imagined )
Celiberal ^

The Righties:
Although they are not given as much media coverage as the celiberals, the conservative celebrities (or those that lean slightly to the right), we call them "The Righties", should be identified. These celebrities have the courage to speak out in an industry primarily flooded with liberals. We encourage all of you to take extra effort to patronize these patriotic celebrities.

** For the purposes of this site, we will define celebrity as any famous person who is NOT one of the following: show host, news personality, journalist, columnist, politician, or religious leader. It's not that these types of people are not celebrities, we just choose to not list them on this site.

The celebrities listed below have been contributed by our users.

Sort By: First Name | Last Name | Date Added Printer Friendly Version

Know of a conservative celebrity that needs to be added to The Righties list? You can contribute your own Righties here.

The Simply Red song "Money's too tight to Mention" makes disparaging remarks about 'Reagannomics'.

I own the Greatest Hits CD anyway.

I haven't checked all of the links, but Trisha Yearwood said on a talk show she loved the Clintons (while they were in the White House, maybe she changed her mind).

Doing a concert for the troops doesn't necessarily make you a righty. Sometimes it's just a gig.

Did you hear that Michael Moore, Babs Streisand, Howard Dean and Bill Clinton want to be on the list too! Since the standards are so loose for this list, why not?

I can't believe all of these. Just because someone wasn't against the war in Iraq doesn't make them conservative.

I always thought Dennis Hopper was, but I saw a week or two ago that he was hosting a fundraiser for John Edwards at his house.

Rob Loew? Wasn't he caught bopping that teeny-bopper on video in 1988 while attending the Democrat convention?

Former L.A. Laker A.C. Green is listed. I believe he claims to be a virgin, or to be celibate...not sure which.

Although she is not well known (yet), go check out the link for Barrett Swatek. I went to high school with her and she is a sweet, down to earth southern girl. Not only that she is a babe! Check out the pic of her with Sean Hannity.

But he's also a former actor so he counts as celebrity as defined for the use of this list.

I know I've seen several on this list that I've seen on lists of those who are liberal too though. I really think I remember seen Dixie Carter on that list but I don't remember where and why. I'm glad to see Matt LeBlanc on this list though.. I love Friends.

"Britany Spears is a lefty. "

honestly, I doubt Spears even votes or bothers to really research anything she comments about. You could likely find conflicting quotes from her just because she is a bit of a ditz who doesn't pay attention to that stuff.

I kinda like Arnold and certainly hope he succeeds in California. His success there could only translate to good things for California and maybe with a little bit of luck even help the national ticket in '04. ...That said, he still is no conservative and the list is still absurd

Fair enough. I just think it's unfortunate that someone who "likes Arnold" and wishes him well, picks HIM as THE example that stands out in this, yes, extremely over-inclusive list. Not Marilyn Manson; no, Arnold. HE's the big non-conservative.

Perhaps, but still, that puts her above the Michael Moores and the Barbara Streisands out there...

She has a lot more class then either Moore or Streisand - and I'd even add her detractors to that list.

"She has a lot more class then either Moore or Streisand "

Well, that isn't really saying much.. 99% of the population has more class than those two.

Deleting Andrew Dice Clay's picture along with offending posts seems way overkill to me. There was no profanity on the pic post.
