CNN - Update. Peterson's DNA expert will be in court on Monday. Court will decide if the hair will be admitted after hearing that testimony.
To: RGSpincich
Thanks for the updates, RG! I've got my TV on CTV now.

Remember, back on Oct 25th when we were trying to understand these paragraphs from the ModestoBee.
LINK
http://www.modbee.com/local/story/7637744p-8544063c.html "Girolami issued a tentative decision in favor of holding a special hearing on whether to allow mitochondrial DNA evidence gathered by authorities.
Such hearings allow judges to explore technology that might be new to courtrooms.
The judge, however, ruled against special hearings on cadaver dogs and global positioning system tracking technology.
Petersons defense hopes to prevent prosecutors from presenting such evidence."
In the third paragraph of this article from Oct 25th,must be the ruling from Girolami, that he wanted to wait until the pre-trial motions to hear evidence on the Kelly Frey 402's (other than the DNA) and the Frank's Hearing(on wiretaps). Is this how you both interpret, Girolami is proceeding on these special hearings?

I doubt salt water would actually "bleach" color out. It would change it to an ugly greyish orange. Her pants were cream colored and I thought had a pattern on them.

There were some radio guys (John and Ken, I think) who were yelling outside Snottie's house early on, but I'm not sure what radio station they are with.

Do you think the plan is for Geragos to bore everyone to sleep and then sneak the Snotster out when everyone is snoozing?

Is THAT what that was about?? I do remember thinking that the man they were seeking was sure short--they said 5'3" man, and a woman 5'5".
Um.... um.... has anyone checked to be sure all our posters are accounted f--- never mind.
I've just gotten back; glad to hear the Congress thing wasn't serious!

There was. I remember the talk about the radio station. We would need to ask some of the locals (or "sort of" locals) what radio station they used to talk about way back, early in the year, regarding this case. So I've added their names as addressees to this post.
What was the radio station y'all listened to early on when this case was all over the place, in early January?
To: Yaelle
ROFL!!!!!
"Sum ting wong."
To: MaggieMay
Great to see ya, Mags! Well, you may want to go with frogs or lizards, or even a cute little coiled rattlesnake for a broach, don't ya think?
To: Devil_Anse
THAT was what it was all about! Re our posters, I think some might be missing....maybe we'd better check around.
To: Sandylapper
I can't wait to hear from the maid. I think her testimony will be riveting!

I thought I heard Wendy Murphy saying on CTV that the garments found on Laci WERE the beige pants and floral top that she was wearing on the 23rd. RG, is that what you heard?
To: MaggieMay
Let's do hope she has something enlightening to tell us! Surely, prosecution has an idea about how she will testify and it will be to their advantage. After all, she's a witness for the prosecution.
To: MaggieMay
Check out the press update site. There's a minute order on there, from yesterday. With the help of RGS, we have figured out that the judge did not "reach" the issues of the GPS and the wiretap affidavits (Franks hearing issue).
The reason the judge did not reach these issues is b/c the prosecution stepped back, saying they are not going to use any wiretap-gathered evidence, nor are they going to use any GPS-gathered evidence, at this preliminary. So once they said they wouldn't use that stuff, that means there is nothing left for the judge to decide on those matters. Until, of course, the state DOES start to try to introduce that evidence. So nothing will happen on those matters--no hearings, no nothing--at this time.
To: Velveeta
Hey, maybe that's it! All will go smoothly unless he knocks over Jackie's oxygen tank on the way out the door!
