Apology to Muslims and censure of Boykin: Resolution H. Res. 419, introduced by Rep. John Conyers

Please write your congressional representative about Resolution H. Res. 419, introduced by Representative John Conyers (D-MI). Click here for the Congress.org link.

The language concerning “religiously intolerant remarks” amounts to censorship of Christian, as well as other beliefs. The resolution is a knee-jerk reaction to Lieutenant General William “Jerry” Boykin’s exercise of Free Speech and Freedom of Religion in his own church. Proposing such a bill is the worst kid of appeasement to a group that is aggressively intolerant to non-Muslims around the world and promotes its own religious agenda right here in the USA.

We cannot allow a secularist policy of appeasement to dictate how we practice our religion in the name of “tolerance.” Moreover, the resolution itself is intolerant. Americans should react with outrage to the potential for censoring and regulating our personal convictions and our right to practice them openly.

"Boykin is being used as a political piñata by the Democrats.

And if the Republicans in charge would grow a pair, any Dim(or anyone else for that matter), who was criticizing Boykin, would be removed from office by the voters of this country. At least the ones who were not Pro-Muslim/Anti-American anyway. Any idiotic politician who votes to censure Boykin will not get my vote, and I will actively campaign to see they do not get elected.

I think I'll write my congressman and ask him to introduce a bill commending and thanking General Boykin for his forthrightness and courage in telling the unvarnished truth about the Satanic cult called Islam. I wonder how many Republican co-sponsors he would get?

But it might not be such a good idea. El Presidente might have him drummed out of the GOP if he did such a thing so soon after that taxpayer-funded White House dinner celebrating Ramadamadingdong, or whatever they call it. You know the one I mean, that Islamic "holy" month Iraqi muslims just celebrated by murdering 15 of our fellow Americans.

Patrice Lumumba would have been so proud. The list of the supporters of the resolution constitute a large number of the Congressional vipers we hold so dearly to our breast.

And if the Republicans in charge would grow a pair

Don't encourage me to post what I really think about this circus.

Seeing a complete innocent man being chastised in public for speaking the truth in a private meeting at a church... it gets my blood boiling.

He said that the his God was more powerful than the "God" of terrorists who dragged American soldiers in the streets of Mogadishu.

Is that controversial? Of course not. Nevertheless, it's been spun as if Boykin had said that his God was not the same as the God of all the Muslims.

As you know, once a feeding frenzy starts, the Leftist hyenas will not stop until they taste blood.

Utterly disgusting.

And the mealy-mouthed Republicans will wash their hands like Pontius Pilate.

Hey DoctorMichael -

Conyers is a hard-core communist. If he had the power, half the people posting here would be vacationing in gulags.

A substitute resolution:

108TH CONGRESS

1ST SESSION

Condemning the ‘HATE the UNITED STATES’ HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES members of the Democrap Party

NOVEMBER 3, 2003

The People of the United States (for themselves) hereby submit Pro Se, the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, and in addition to the Committee on Armed Services, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

RESOLUTION
Condemning the remarks and actions upon the President to clearly censure and publish the treasonous remarks of Mr. CONYERS, Mr. PASCRELL, Mr. KUCINICH, Ms. JACKSON-LEE of Texas, Mrs. JONES of Ohio, Mr. WEINER, Mr. MEEKS of New York, Mr. WEXLER, Mr. MCDERMOTT, Ms. MCCOLLUM, Ms. WATERS, Ms. LEE, Mr. HONDA, Ms. LOFGREN, Ms. WATSON, Mr. HINCHEY, and Mr. MEEHAN, et al.

Whereas those remarks by Mr. CONYERS, Mr. PASCRELL, Mr. KUCINICH, Ms. JACKSON-LEE of Texas, Mrs. JONES of Ohio, Mr. WEINER, Mr. MEEKS of New York, Mr. WEXLER, Mr. MCDERMOTT, Ms. MCCOLLUM, Ms. WATERS, Ms. LEE, Mr. HONDA, Ms. LOFGREN, Ms. WATSON, Mr. HINCHEY, and Mr. MEEHAN, et al, are counter to the dedicated efforts of the President of the United States and the members of the United States Military, many of whom have given their lives;

Whereas the remarks made by Mr. CONYERS, Mr. PASCRELL, Mr. KUCINICH, Ms. JACKSON-LEE of Texas, Mrs. JONES of Ohio, Mr. WEINER, Mr. MEEKS of New York, Mr. WEXLER, Mr. MCDERMOTT, Ms. MCCOLLUM, Ms. WATERS, Ms. LEE, Mr. HONDA, Ms. LOFGREN, Ms. WATSON, Mr. HINCHEY, and Mr. MEEHAN, et al, have impaired the image of the United States worldwide and threaten to endanger the Members of the United States Military around the world, in particular in Iraq and Afghanistan; and

Whereas such remarks by the HATE THE UNITED STATES wing of the Democrap Party undermine the war on terrorism by failing to represent the citizens of the United States who elected them:

Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

Here's a good question. If a member of THe House brought up a resolution censuring Jesse Jackson for his "Hymie-Town" remark, would the same members of Congress jump all over co-sponsorship?

Of course not, remarks like that count only if it is aimed at a Muslim. However, Jackson is worse, Boykin didn't use any racial or ethnic slurs.

Imagine Congress asking leaders to apologize to the Nazis during WWII when our leaders claimed God was on our side. Imagine the Continental Congress asking Thomas Jefferson to apologize when he implied in the Declaration of Independence that God was on the side of the colonists.

I think alot of people think we should apologize for being the world's foremost economic and military power, built on Judeo-Christian values. I'm not sorry, no way, never!

Thank God most Americans are not apeasement freaks!
