Apology to Muslims and censure of Boykin: Resolution H. Res. 419, introduced by Rep. John Conyers

Please write your congressional representative about Resolution H. Res. 419, introduced by Representative John Conyers (D-MI). Click here for the Congress.org link.

The language concerning “religiously intolerant remarks” amounts to censorship of Christian, as well as other beliefs. The resolution is a knee-jerk reaction to Lieutenant General William “Jerry” Boykin’s exercise of Free Speech and Freedom of Religion in his own church. Proposing such a bill is the worst kid of appeasement to a group that is aggressively intolerant to non-Muslims around the world and promotes its own religious agenda right here in the USA.

We cannot allow a secularist policy of appeasement to dictate how we practice our religion in the name of “tolerance.” Moreover, the resolution itself is intolerant. Americans should react with outrage to the potential for censoring and regulating our personal convictions and our right to practice them openly.

Why not censure Sen KKK Byrd droppings for his use of the N-Word on the Senate floor on national TV?

Or Bustemante for that matter, 100 people walked out on him using the "N" word when it slipped out, over and over again.

Bustamenta the Racist

But God help us if we disagree with Islam or homosexuality. Then we're bad, intolerant people.

What happened to the 1st amendment???????????

Apparently, some don't think it applies to Christians...I hope more Christians wake up to what is happening in this country and the true Islamist agenda.

That's a good question, why don't you ask it of those who have co-sponsored this stupid item.

Amen to that!

I can see how some of the Officer's remarks were not politically correct, but who the hell cares?

We have ONE guy saying that crazy murderers are the devil's tools, and people go to pieces.

They have entire governments spewing out venom and hatred against us but that is just a "Cultural Difference."

I hope the idiots keep sponsoring bills like this so that the American people can see how perverse these folks are. I stand by the General 100%.

I understand that the tapes purportedly containing these "quotes" still have not been released, and, in fact, the accuser REFUSES to release the tapes so the so-called offending comments can be placed in context.

There is no way any fair person should censure someone on the basis of excerpts that are handpicked by an opponent.

It appears the Democratic Party needs remedial lessons in U.S. Constitution 101.

Bill of Rights

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Doesn't apply to the military.

This resolution will go nowhere except into the dumpster just like everything else Conman proposes.

Regarding Resolution H. Res. 419, introduced by Representative John Conyers (D-MI)...

Give a Democrtat a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat & drink beer all day. Elect him to Public Office and he will DESTROY the United States and the Christian citizens who legally reside therein !!!
