Sean Hannity has a scoop on dem party corruption (Vanity)
Sean Hannity radio show ^ | 11/04/03 | Unknown Democrat (via Sean Hannity)

Posted on 11/04/2003 1:27:18 PM PST by jocon307

Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.

He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.

Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

What if Hilliary leaked this to screw her own party and set herself up as a patriotic whistleblower? The mind boggles.

What if the whole thing is a prank?

Well....that ought to get a "committee to look into it" ( said with sarcasm...dripping from my lips..)

Hannity just called two thirds of the Three Stooges...as far as I'm concerned.

The day those two mooks...go to pasture..will be a good day...IMO..!!

FWIW-

Roberts sounds nervous and weak to me. He is being far, FAR too nice to these people

Substitute Bush for Roberts and it sounds like their dealing with Ted Kennedy. Probably Roberts is waiting to see what Bush wants him to do.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. The "New Politics", doncha know.

Memo with a plan to trash the President found in the trash. Rockefeller says it was just a draft memo so it's apparently of no consequence. Man, wouldn't you love to see the final version?

Dead wrong.

If terrorists didn't obtain feedback indicating that they were having an effect in the US, they would lose their recruiting power and attacks would decrease as they sought to regroup.

Democrats provide the feedback they need to keep going.

There's no way in hell killing a few US soldiers would force the US military out of Iraq. It is only possible through using Leftists as the useful idiots they have been since Viet Nam.

Yes...that's right...The Leftists in the US won the war in Viet Nam, not the Viet Cong nor the Chinese.

The translation of democratic shenanigans to dead soldiers is spot on and deadly accurate.

Let's save our energy for when the Dems try to pull our troops out of Iraq and not waste time over a memo that essentially says nothing.

No thank you, newbie. We need to keep the heat on this one.

I haven't read all 600+ posts on this thread so I don't know if this has been posted, but you can read the memo at newsmax.com.

Okay, trying again, since my formatting was all messed up.

You're all missing something VERY VERY significant here!

Look at these parts:

"The approach outlined above seems to offer the best prospect for exposing the administration's dubious motives."

"Yet we have an important role to play in revealing the misleading, if not flagrantly dishonest, methods and motives"

The Dems on the Senate Intel Committee, EVEN AMONG THEMSELVES, are not willing to say that "Bush Lied"!!! They say misleading, they say dubious, they DISAVOW dishonest!

And these are the same people who, as noted in this very memo, got the Niger story turned into the big deal that it was! This completely blows away the "Bush Lied" meme that tries to convey that Bush was in fact "flagrantly dishonest"! Not even the Democrats who had the most access to the information are willing to call it -lying-. That is HUGH and very very SERIES! (okay, all joking aside, it really is!)

I heard it on my way home from work. You can read the memo on www.newsmax.com. This stinks of Hillary,Daschle,Schumer, and Rockefeller. There's supposed to be more on Hannity and Colmes tonight. It's a direct ethics violation, and somebody's gonna get nailed for this memo....gee, I hope it's her....

I'm not trying to argue with anyone here -- but except for the description of the memo by someone, I don't see anything about classified information in the memo. What should I be looking at?

Classified info is what that particular committee does.

My intuition, which is pretty good, tells me that this is a big one. Sean is correct about locking down computers and e-mail accounts on those involved, and a full investigation on these committee members in regards to abuse of political power, misappropriation of government funds and whatever else will stick be launched.

They've been itching for an investigation. Let's give 'em one. In spades.

Yes, we need to keep the heat on this one. The RAT candidates just spent an entire 90 minutes in their CNN debate calling President Bush a liar. We cannot allow this to stand anymore. It is time to fight for President Bush - NOW!

"Iraq is a long way from [the USA], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." Letter to President Clinton, signed by:
Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

And there's LOTS more!

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002
