Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.
He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.
Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

Were you able to catch her on Leno? She was positively great! LOL
She wouldn't even discuss the Dims with Leno! Bwahahaha! Shows her good sense by acknowleging that there's really nothing at all to be said about them, which is what Leno followed up with. LOL!
I love Barbara Bush.

Beware of anybody who uses "motive" as an accusation. It was Stalin who boasted that he could win every debate if he could switch the arguement to "motivation." By implying bad motives like greed and revenge, you can "discover" that the opposition has been saying one thing while thinking another. Who's to prove you wrong? It's all mind-reading, but it appeals to well-coached "victims."
The weird thing is the Dems' gift for "projection." They probably, actually think he's lying, that he's power-hungry and greedy, because that's what they are. They know whereof they speak and they can make a good case for it. They can really read minds.

Did Sean say the leaker was connected to the committee? Returned to this thread very late tonight so this has probably been answered, but Sean said his leaker was a MEMBER of the committee!

"SUMMARY: Intelligence issues are clearly secondary to the public's concern regarding the insurgency in Iraq."
This committee's job is the intelligence gathering information of the country and is their primary mission - It is certainly not seconday to the public's concern regarding what happened to get us in there. They should be addressing the needs of our inttelligence gathering capabilities to make our nation stronger and more secure.
Indicating that "Intelligence Issues are secondary" is close to..... if not...... criminal. This is not a matter of opinion, but the definitions of the missions of all these comittees we have.
Someone WILL resign.... this will go to the ethics comittee for teir investigation, and I HOPE that the FBI and/or CIA become involved. I doubt the information the intelligence agency heads are providing are thought for one minute to be used in such a political way.
This will NOT die out in a day or two.

""SUMMARY: Intelligence issues are clearly secondary to the public's concern regarding the insurgency in Iraq"
And the mission of the Intelligence Comittee is what?? Clearly not one to strengthen our information collection so that we might be stronger, smarter, and safer. Let's just go after the political angle instead?
Again - THIS part of the meo is more telling than all the rest. "Intelligence Issues are clearly secondary..."??? Please - why is this committee even in existence if that isn't it's PRIMARY role.

It is mentioned several places now - NewsMax got it immediately, several other articles posted here.
As I said on the other posts - I expect the Republicans to act on this. This is planned sabotage of Bush when they should be working on protecting this country.
Taxpayers should not have to pay for this stupid nonsense. It is hard enough for America to survive in this world without having to fight wars against outsiders and against Americans too.
I also don't want this group having access to our security information - because - apparently they are not in the same war we are. And, I better not hear more about that - "we have to build a bridge" nonsense from Roberts. He needs to quit worrying about being friends with the democrats who are using him and realize his president is being attacked from his committee and they are using him to do it.
I'm mad!!!!!!

Yes, I heard his stupid comments. This sounds like a Hillary stunt to me. This was not something from a low level staffer - this was from a member of the committee.
This is a mite more serious than Trent Lott's misspeak - this is plotting against the president during a war from within a top security committee. No way this senator should retain his seat. He is not doing the job he was put there to do - instead he is sabotaging the administration elected to protect this nation.

Roberts is going to build bridges back to the RATS.....so they can roll him again.
His reaction last night on H&C was very telling.....if I was one of his advisors I would tell not to do any more interviews.....until he can feint outrage.
ED on Fox is outraged by this.....she said this reaks..
