Remember that the Muslims follow a lunar calendar... so a "moon" may mean a month (derivation of the word "month" comes from "moon").

Also, they consider a solar eclipse as complete proof of the END of a month. The new month does not start until the crescent of the new moon is seen.

Logically, a lunar eclipse, which occurs exactly halfway through a lunar month could therefore be called "splitting the moon (read Month) in two!"

Yeah the bridges could be the spliting in 3 but there's a few other things that we should look at.

We know that they talk in code so the spliting in 3 could be code for them to take out 3 different cities.

Also given that most of us here believe that the blackout we had earlier this year. (as well as the blackouts in the UK, Australia, and other countries that have supported us), they could be planing to take out the entire power grid of the US.
