THE POST: Here's what Democratic Underground didn't want you to see:
I Hope the Bloodshed Continues in Iraq
Well, that should bring the bats out of the attic with fangs dripping. I won't be hypocritcal. It is politically correct, particularly in any Dem discussion to hope and pray and feel for our troops and scream "bring them back now". I'm fighting something bigger.
I'm a 58 year old broad and I can tell you that what is going on in our country isn't the usual ebb and flow of politics where one party is in power and then another; where the economy goes through ups and downs.......yawn, yawn--just wait a bit and things will turn out peachy keen. That stupid la-la land is over.
I realize that not every GI Joe was 100peeercent behind Prseeedent Booosh going into this war; but I do know that that is what an overwhelming number of them and their famlies screamed in the face of protesters who were trying to protect these kids. Well, there is more than one way to be "dead" for your country. They are not only not accompishing squat in Iraq, they are doing crap nothing for the safety, defense of the US of A over there directly. But "indirectly" they are doing a lot.
The only way to get rid of this slime bag WASP-Mafia, oil barron ridden cartel of a government, this assault on Americans and anything one could laughingly call "a democracy", relies heavily on what a shit hole Iraq turns into. They need to die so that we can be free. Soldiers usually did that directly--i.e., fight those invading and harming a country. This time they need to die in defense of a lie from a lying adminstration to show these ignorant, dumb Americans that Bush is incompetent. They need to die so that Americans get rid of this deadly scum. It is obscene, Barbie Bush, how other sons (of much nobler blood) have to die to save us from your Rosemary's Baby spawn and his ungodly cohorts.
Andrew Sullivan's comment: I'm not saying this represents anything but a radical fringe. Implying that liberals or Democrats support his kind of poison is absurd. But this exists. And it's part of what's fueling the anger of the far left. (By the way, Democratic Underground has more traffic than this site, Instapundit, the Nation or the New Republic. It boasts over 30,000 subscribers.)
LOL, did you happen to go over there in the last election when they got their behinds smoked? It was like walking around in a funeral parlor.
We believe in our cause a lot adult-like. If anything gets booted (IMHO) it's for double-posts, speculation, profanity or links to DU (Because their site isn't worth the FRee advertising).
Much quicker response time too.
We have over 100,000 posters to their..what? *snicker* Twelve? Fifteen?? *chortle*
The post wasn't removed until AFTER it was reposted on Best of the Web and Andrewsullivan.com and started generating bad publicity for them. If the post had been removed within minutes of having been posted, you'd have a point. It was up for a good 18 hours.
All thanks should go to eyespysomething for snaggin' this one. I'm just doing my part to spread the word.
And posts like that were removed from Starpass's original thread! People who insulted her had their posts removed, but hers stayed up.
OK
Well, I was kicked off of the metallica.com forums for giving my opinion that child molesters/killers should be dropped out of an airplane at 30,000 feet without a parachute while wearing a helmet cam. What the convicted sees would then be broadcast to every prison television nationwide (Rather than HBO and Showtime).
I got the boot the next day.
However, there was one poster that said, "and Bush beware im suprised he hasnt been assasinated by now" (Click for link -need to register first) and they still haven't been kicked out.
Now, I'm not whining. The lefties there outnumber me about 2 to 1 (That's why I'm there -a challenge). I'm just, once again, pointing out their hypocracy.
Good for him. He stood up to that. Now, as an explanation of why I seem to know quite abit about DU...my sister is a DU'er. I read DU where I can attempt to find some common ground with her. Occasionally DU'ers will have much the same reaction to something as we will. Unfortunately, it's only occasionally.
It is hilarious that you two, as siblings, are posting on two diametrically opposed message boards! LOL! And yes, it's unfortunate that our culture is so politically divided that a common reaction is rare.
There's a big difference between opposing a sitting president and advocating the deaths of American soldiers. Whoever that guy is, he seems to recognize that difference.
And dead voters...
