Areawide rain now, 3-6 inches snow expected tonight. Besides, the moon won't rise for two more hours.

The moon will rise over the mountains here in eastern California in about 10 more minutes. Unfortunately, we are overcast and getting snow too.

On the east coast, where I am its coooooooold outside amd the moon is a beautiful coral pink. Quite a show

Coral pink? Can't really tell what color it is here in NY, but it just might have a coral hue.

Thanks for the ping coleus. It's a wonderful site.

My birthday is today and I was born in 1953. What is your reference to 1953?

Me too. However, I believe that reference was for Military time. 7:53pm.

1953 = 7:53 Military time

NOW doesn;t exactly mean NOW -- nothing yet on the west coast.
