It's freezing out here in Boston area but clear as a bell so I can see it well in spite of street lights. It must be georgeous in the countryside.

Screw the eclipse. Sabado Gigante is coming on in 20 minutes.

Just stepped out to take a look. Perfectly clear here in Boston, although very windy and cold! Moon's about 85% in the shadow. Dark side glowing faintly orange.

Alright, I'll say it: What did Bush know about this eclipse, and when did he know it? (Rolls eyes)

After 10+ days of cloudless skies here in south-east B.C., we now are overcast. :^(

The local druids, et al, are having some sort of 'harmonic convergence' shindig.

I think I'll go catch Don Cherry and the 2nd period in TO. ;^)

Had to turn out the lights on the moon because of those tax cuts for the rich.

Excellent clear night with a great view here on the south shore of Long Island, NY. Great to have nice weather on such a night finally.

Hey, one more thing (as I watch the eclipse from my computer). I was in your neighborhood today. Visited my daughter at MSU and my wife made me stop at the Stitchery on Grand River in Howell on the way back. Beautiful town.

About 7:45 in Central New Jersey. Again, it's a very clear night. The moon is about 3/4 covered.

(BTW, how often does this occur?)

John Kerry: Although I voted for the eclipse, I have reservations over the way the administration has carried out the post-eclipse...

This is so cool! Our entire block is out front looking at the moon. My next door neighbor's Grand Dad has a telescope on the lawn. We have some great Tasco binoculars and the view is spectacular! Thanks for the post.

Should we chant or dance at 8:06?

I'm near downtown. I just checked again and the orange glow seems brighter. Check again.
