I'd like to remain on-line and respond, by work calls me away. Y'all discuss it among yourselves and I'll check back tomorrow.

I don't disagree with the sentiment but I worry this could be "too much too soon". My goodness, he'll be returning to the mic on the 17th and they're going to have this dinner so soon afterwards? I just hope he will be well enough to deal with the challenge.

I'm guessing he's going to be quite a humble guy until he gets his sails right again.

Rush will have plenty of bumps ahead of him but he is equipped to survive these chalenges. I am also anxious to hear of his latest adventure.....and I wonder how this has changed him.

I've done something this week that is so beyond the pale for me that it is something I simply could never imagine. I've rearranged my schedule so that next Monday I can listen to the first hour of his show. I rarely get to do that. I have also rearranged it so I could hear the entire show...another rarity.

I wish him all the best, but mostly, I want him to confront the issues now as he has in the past. I don't want his (I suspect) epiphany to change him in that respect. Maybe I'm just being selfish.

Would someone please tell me what information one can access on Rush's site WITHOUT paying $40? It gets more confusing all the time. Also would love to know of any updates on how he's doing ... haven't really heard anything. Many thanks .......... GO RUSH GO!

Rush is a drug addict...plain and simple. If he has been thru rehab and is reformed..more power to him.

Let us not be mistaken..a drug addict is a drug addict. Believe me I know. I think that if he truly been reformed, we will see a kinder, gentler Rush. Oh yeah, I have seen plenty of drug addicts, and they are quite different after recovery.

Yes, a drug addict is a drug addict. Rush has been trying to seek treatment for a couple of years for his problem. Always remember...."there but for the grace of God go I".
