Send e-mail to whomever on this list seems relevent, and give them your opinion on the overcoverage of Kobe Bryant, Scott Peterson, et. al. Suggestions for inclusion in your letters:
1. Courtesy (okay, this goes without saying, I know =) )
2. A mention that you are a conservative, and that you like Fox News because you feel that they, unlike other news networks, do not cast conservatives and Republicans in an unfair light
3. An explanation for your distaste for their overcoverage of irrelevant, trivial cases such as Scott Peterson and Kobe Bryant
4. A note that precisely because of ability to cover news appropriately and fairly, you do not wish to see FNC fall down into the same cavern as CNN or MSNBC, quality-wise OR ratings-wise.

I'd rather tell them to "quit it" with the obscene female bodies they flash nonstop. I wrote Fox and Friends about the Britney Spears video they show ad nauseum first thing in the morning and I left the show in protest. I now watch Imus...an arrogant tin God, but at least I don't have to watch obscenity. I encourage all of you to write in protest of that!

MEMO TO FOX: ANY reference to the Scott Peterson Case, and I'm channel surfin' USA...
As to the Kobe Case, after 2 minutes, I'm onward toward the other 900 channels.

Done.

I hope FNC doesn't think we REALLY want to bury ourselves in sex and trials all the time! Sometimes it seems like 80% of their air time is devoted to cheap crime crap!
10-15 minutes per show is more than adequate to cover Kobe and Scott, IMHO. The balance of that show should be devoted to IMPORTANT STUFF involving politics.
(And I would like to see serious time devoted to morals, ethics, character, et al. If they hired Dennis Prager I bet their ratings would go even higher!)

You make it sound as though you are stuck with Imus. Why not put on some music and start the day right? Why subject yourself to an arrogant tin god? It makes no sense.

The only show I watch on Fox is Special Report with Brit Hume, and he spends no time at all on Peterson. They cover it quickly in the news breaks. As for the tabloid shows--O'Reilly, Hannity, Greta--I guess they cover it, but then, their shows get the highest ratings in cable news. Someone must be watching.

I plead guilty. I am a true-crime freak. I read almost every book on true-crime. Yeah, I am sick. I actually like the Scott Peterson case. Call me nuts. I can take it.

I really appreciate Brit's show. Cavuto is good, too, but I never see it. The rest I have no use for. Well, ok. I like seeing Laurie Dhue :-) But I have no use for the highly rated Fox shows.

I like crime novels and whodoneits, too but Greta's show is enough.Hannity should be ashamed to be taking so much time on this.I know its a ratings game but I don't tune into Hannity for my crime fix.A report on today's hearing info is enough...not talking head lawyers on every show!
