Help Hold Ted Kennedy Accountable for His Racially Insensitive Remarks
Once again, the press is giving a Democrat Senator a "pass" on racially insensitive conduct. If you are unfamiliar with the controversy, click here. We, the people, must not let Senator Kennedy skate.
Please help out by taking the following easy steps to get the story out:
1) Click here to open an email to CORE (the Congress of Racial Equality). It is time for them to prove they can be effective, and writing to Republicans in Congress is not the answer to this issue. Of course, please feel free to send this email to any group that is in a position to help on this issue.
2) Compose an email demanding that Senator Kennedy be held responsible for his conduct. If you are short on time, a sample email follows:
Dear Mr. Innis,
I am writing to you because I am OUTRAGED by Senator Ted Kennedy's insensitive public comments on Friday -- specifically, his calling well-qualified minority judges such as Janice Rogers Brown and Miguel Estrada, African-American and Hispanic respectively, "Neanderthals". Though Senator Kennedy's comments were unquestionably insensitive, he refuses to apologize -- nor is the "free press" forcing him to apologize. In fact, it appears that they are once again burying a story merely because pursuing it would hurt a popular Democrat.
If a Republican had made the same comment, his congressional office would have been empty by 12:00pm yesterday afternoon -- and Senators like Ted Kennedy would be calling for blood (and for heads to roll).
CORE's mission, as stated, is "to identify and expose acts of discrimination in the public and private sectors of society. When such an act is uncovered, CORE. . . goes into action." It is time to go into action.
This blatant bias in the press -- self-imposed press censorship to protect a Democrat Senator -- must not stand, and Senator Kennedy must be held accountable for his reprehensible, hypocritical, insensitive conduct. Therefore, I call on CORE to immediately and publicly take visible action and call for Senator Kennedy's resignation, as he has once again proved that he is unfit to serve in the United States Senate. At the minimum, Senator Kennedy must be censured for his atrocious conduct.
Thank you,
YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS
3) Send it!
4) Click here to send an email to your friends asking them to email CORE as well! Just compose a message and put your friends email addresses in the TO field.
Good job!
PS Please check in (or reply with a BUMP) after you send your email so we can get a head count. Thanks!
I've read recently that they think Neanderthals were actually cultured. That leaves Teddy out........
All kidding aside, where IS the media outcry at these statements? Don't they care about their credibility at all?
I mean, OBVIOUSLY they are biased, but you'd think that they'd want to maintain a modicum of believeability with SOMEONE.
Has ANY leftist media source said anything about this nasty, condescending comment?
Well, not really.
Oliver(true story}
Unusual in that he walks in a bipedal gait and enjoys the company of people--or did when he was younger. He was originally brought into the U.S. with 12 other chimpanzees but immediately stood out as different. He learned to drink, enjoy coffee and beer, and smoke cigars. In the evenings he would sit on a sofa and watch television. If his caregivers were out of coffee, he would walk into the kitchen, pour a cup, and take it into the den. As he got older, he made sexual advances on the wife and as a result was sold. Now living in retirement in Texas.
....yep, he was discribing himself!!!
1 also Ne·an·der·tal /-"tol, -"täl/ : being, relating to, or resembling Neanderthal man.
2 : suggesting a caveman in appearance, mentality, or and behavior
"F***king Jew Bastard" -- Hillary Clinton.
I don't recall any uproar over these remarks...

Hi, Quoting from your website, " Under the banner of "TRUTH! LOGIC! & COURAGE!", CORE will continue to promote harmony and healing in all aspects of society; calling the shots straight--even when it hurts--and combating the haters, race baiters and racial racketeers bent on keeping us apart," please let me know of your plans for handling Senator Kennedy's characterization of Miguel Estrada and Janice Rogers Brown as "Neanderthals." You do intend to react to this, don't you? Isn't this what your organization is all about? Thanks for reading my email,
upchuck
Must the whole populace constantly look over its shoulder in fear of saying anything "racially insensitive?"
Not that i agree w/ wet Teddy, just that eggshell walking is not a particular forte of mine.
