Do you really blame this on Islam? Or would a LACK of faith anf understanding along with bigoted ignorance be a more apropreate place to put the blame? That is like blaming Slavery on Christianity! The implication here is that all Moslems kill their daughters if they 'dishonor' the family. Just about every world religion has its fanatic idiots, but it does not justify making a sweeping generalization about the rest of them.

Many Moslems do not regard these people as Moslems as they have strayed somewhat (understatement) from the tenets of the religion. I mean how many Christians, Jews, etc. have risen up to stamp out the fanatical quarters of their own religions?

During my professional life, I had the good fortune to do business with and socialize with a signifant number of Muslims --- mostly Shia Iranians.

Also, as part of my former professional life -- I visited and conducted business in the middle east - mostly in Turkey.

In all cases, I responded to Muslims as I would anyone else..
Treat me with respect and in truth, and I will return the consideration..
Treat me badly or lie --- and I will cease doing business or cut off the relationship...

One of the most difficult issues since 9/11, for me -- was to discover that a few of my former "friends" held opinions about the war on terrorism that I could not overlook or forgive...

Not all, but several were hotly opposed to American troops invading an Islamic country.....while not offering any reasonable alternative to destroying the attackers of America.

Strange that they felt the Islamists could declare open season on Americans or Jews - but for some unfathomable reason, the "infidels" should NOT attack an Islamic nation....


On 9/11, rather that express shock, shame or horror that such a thing had been done in the name of their religion - several spent all their energy attempting to EXPLAIN how and why these angry Muslims felt COMPELLED to punish America..

Frankly - I don't give a damned about their anger or the reasons for it..
I don't give a damned that they're upset that we have invaded their "Islamic Sanctuary"..
The ONE emotion I feel is deep blood lust anger..
I want revenge, and I now want to see destroyed, those that would destroy my family and my world..

If the MAJORITY Muslim world has ANY HOPE OR DESIRE of living in peace with the non Islamic world -- which is doubtful from what little I have learned about their religion --- they had better take INTERNAL STEPS to rid themselves of the "Monsters in the Mosques", or the coalition of the willing will bring their world to catastrophic closure.
