Volume IV of the Dragon's Fury Series tops Powells.com Adobe Reader best seller list
Powell's ^ | December 2, 2003 | Jeff Head

Posted on 12/02/2003 9:05:53 AM PST by Jeff Head

Volume IV of Freeper Jeff Head's Dragon's Fury Series, The Long March, which is a techno-thriller series about how current geo-political conditions lead to World War III, after debuting for three weeks as Powell's number two featured Adobe eBook, has now topped Powell's Adobe eBook best seller list.

Youi can see the list at the following link:

VOLUME IV OF DRAGON'S FURY TOPS POWELL'S ADOBE EBOOK BESTSELLER LIST

Now, in reality, eBooks are a very, very small part of the market and selling 30-40 of them in a couple of weeks time will get you atop almost any eBook bestseller list. But it is a growing market, and it does impact sales in other areas, particularly printed formats.

The Adobe eBook and printed versions of Volume IV of the series should be available on Amazon in the next week or so.

The printed version of Volume IV is already available on Barnes & Noble online and on BooksaMillion online.

A Techno-thriller series about the next World War

Thanks FGS! My Dad and Mom taught me to:
"stick to the task, 'til the task sticks to you, for beginners are many, but enders are few, and out of the toil and sweat of the run, only a winner is bound to come"!
I've tried to live by that wise advise.

Maintained the #1 status there for a third day.

HERE.

There are several thousands eBooks there and it is rated amongst some New York Times best selling authors, so all of that is very good. But it also indicates (in the great scheme of things) that eBook total volume sales are still miniscule compared to printed materiel. Still, it is a very good position to point to for leverage.

And leverage is what it's all about at this point, finding can openers to open bigger and bigger cans.

Some of those cans have real thick, tough lids...so, I either have to get a bigger opener, or just keeping working with myriads of smaller ones. I think the latter is the clear path.

Either way, I am very gratified by whatever measrue of success the novels have had, and particularly if they are getting people to think.

As always, Joanie, the pleasure and the appreciation are all mine. You, Chris, Corrie and the others have been the best of friends to work with and learn from.

Thank you, Jeff, and likewise! It's been wonderful to do my small part in helping you out. (Time to add Vol. 3 and 4 to my bookshelf, too! Does Amazon still have them in stock?)

Amazon has Vol III in stock but hasn;t gotten Vol IV up yet. Baerns & Noble and BooksAMillion both have order entries for Volume IV.

Amazon should be soon, but will prbably sell out right away. Barnes & Noble is sold out, but their new order was just printed and is on the way as we speak.
