Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars. Very false.

Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS! The predator will be watching you So will the person who saw you walk to your car, rushed over to grab your parking space, and has high hopes of seeing you leave sometime this year. So, yes, by all means, START THE CAR AND LEAVE ALREADY! |

If you get a flat tire, don't get out of the car! And if someone offers help, don't open the window! Just sit there until you starve. It's not worth the danger that someone might assault you. Get a cell phone! Call for help. This really isn't funny. The above senario happened to me....I did the stupid thing.

LOL. You are right. Most of us have become a predator of a parking space.

Good advice. I consider my cell phone one of my best safety precautions. I never leave home without it. Not all dangers come from predators. Just being able to call for help if you have an accident, flat tire, run out gas, car problems, etc. My car stopped once about 60 miles in the middle of nowhere and I was really thankful I had my cell.

Wish I'd had one back then. (23 years ago though!) I was about 60 miles out myself.

I hope that they have been able to get over the trauma of the ordeal. </> The daughter has grown up and has children of her own. Before the kidnapping, she was afraid of everything. After she came home, she was more confident and less scared. I don't know if this had anything to do with all the prayers that were said for her, or did the fact that he didn't hurt her when he could have? Perhaps she thought she had been through it all and survived, so she would be OK.

I've got one for you: always carry armed. Know how to use it. Don't be afraid to use it.

The crying baby thing is a big time Urban LegendThere is always a new scam out there, however. Probably more danger in losing your money than your life, but it doesn't hurt to be alert and not too trusting.
