CAIRO, Egypt (CNN) -- Palestinian factions meeting in Cairo are expected to call for a halt to all attacks on civilians and to ask the international community to pressure Israel to do the same, CNN learned Wednesday.
Delegates to the meeting -- including members of Palestinian militant groups -- said there is a preliminary agreement among different Palestinian political parties to stop the killing of Israeli civilians, thereby implying an end to all attacks inside Israel.

What?
You have a problem with fundamental Islamic extremists who anxiously provoke their very own children to blow themselves up because they might be able to take a few Jews with to death with them?
How did you ever become so demented?

The Palestinian factions -- including members of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Arafat's Fatah movement -- are being hosted by the Egyptian intelligence services. So Arafat's Fatah movement is admitting that it has been deliberately murdering civilians up until now? And the Egyptian intelligence services are admitting that they knew this?

Just think...the beautiful part is that it is going to take the next generation raising THEIR kids to stop the cycle of hatred that exists against Israel.
I truely wish we could see peace in our time, but I don't think it's gonna' happen.
I just thank God that Jason Alexander and Danny DeVito went over there. I think that, now, more than ever, the world NEEDS Jason Alexander and Danny DeVito. All this time, and the answer was always right there, in front of our eyes, on our own T.V. sets...

""Declaring a cease-fire without Israel abiding by these conditions," said one delegate "will amount to total surrender.""
Right. Tell us when you're ready, instead of your transparent posturing.

Possibly foreign aid bills in various countries are being negotiated now and the Palis need to be on their best behavior to assure more bomb making funds are available for their next series of attacks on Israel?

The Palestinians have broader conditions for achieving this cease-fire Is it just me, or is a fatal flaw in the article a failure to delineate the conditions? Having said that, one must hope for a near miricle. In the fullness of time, I fear that the region more likely than not is headed to a bad end, probably but not certainly after the expiration of my time on this mortal coil. There is simply too much water under the bridge, the demographics are negative, and the West Bank has been largely stripped of its middle class.

The factions at the Cairo talks also are expected to affirm Palestinian rights to resist Israelis through a variety of means, including continuing armed attacks on Israeli soldiers and settlers inside the 1967 borders, a Palestinian delegate said. In other news, the Palestinians have vowed to unconditionally give up swimming until and unless they find themselves immersed in water.

Palestinian factions meeting in Cairo are expected to call for a halt to all attacks on civilians and to ask the international community to pressure Israel to do the same, CNN learned Wednesday.Israel doesn't attack civilians. The "civilians" the Palestinians are talking about are terrorists.
In other words: if Palestinian terrorists for the most part stop attacking Israeli civilians, and only carry out terror attacks on Israeli soldiers, Israel wouldn't be allowed to attack the terrorists (or it would be guilty of violating the agreement). Give me a break! Give ISRAEL a break!
