SPAM (an address to rid yourself of it)

This morning E.D. Hill, on Fox & Friends, displayed an eMail address for ridding yourself of eMail.

You are supposed to be able to FORWARD all "spam" to this address (with headers) and they are going to shut them down. This is part of the Anti-Spam bill passed yeaterday and to be signed by President Bush this week.

I have started forwarding this morning and it seems to go through so far.

I have an online account that gets 10 a day. This will be so quickly overwhelmed as to be useless.

Ask Congress to "hold your hand" hold your 'pee pee" while you whiz, hold your spoon to be fed....

Hell people! Ask congress to do this and guess what - the law would probably say "Send ALL your mail to us first and we will decide if it is worth sending."

"If we don't like it, you WILL be arrested."

My account gets about 70 a day. I have so many filters in place, it's crazy.

And they STILL worm their way though. I had one with an innocent subject line, looked at it, the entire message body l.o.o.k.e.d. l.i.k.e. t.h.i.s.

The entire purpose to defeat filtering.

While my brain agrees with you, my emotions don't. I can't tell you how wonderful it has been around here since I registered with the Do Not Call registry. Ahhhh....now when the phone rings, it's someone I *want* to talk to. What's a conservative to do? I'm being sucked in by my government! I wonder if I'll be voting for Howard Dean in the next election.....

Ten? I have an address that is on my website and two other private addresses and I get over 300 spams a day. Sorting through it takes a half hour a day.
