Folks, you know me better than your outrage over my statement - Hillary puts the testicles of Sunday show anchors in a lock box - indicates. People won't let this go, even though they know we don't do cheap potty humor here.

If I use a metaphor, it must be the best way to illustrate the situation. That was a great show yesterday - despite the e-mail I read below, and the caller who challenged me tried to claim. They just didn't get it.

If they had said no one was talking about the show, that's one thing. But they said it was the talk of the coffee shops. So, once again, I was right. But out of the empathy for your feelings that is my hallmark, I tried to restate what I had to say for the squeamish among you.

Here it goes: Does anyone deny that women use sex to get men to do what they want? I would doubt that you do. Now, does anyone think Mrs. Clinton uses sex for these purposes? No. If there's anybody out there who thinks Mrs. Clinton uses sexuality to get where she's going, you need help.

It is, however, undeniable that the junior senator from New York uses her gender as a weapon. She uses it to ensure favorable treatment - witness the way she emasculated Rick Lazio for handing her a piece of paper. So that's my remaking of this point. It's not as memorable or illustrative or hilarious as the "t-word" lock box, which we parodied in a commercial below. It does, however, have the benefit of preventing any uncomfortable questions from children in the audience.

Since Rush has returned from rehab, I've noticed that his conversation has become more and more profane. His profane mouth has really turned me off from his show. I use to listen to his program regularly, whenever I had the opportunity. But this last month, I have had to listen to conversations about testicles in a box, orgasmitrons, multi-orgasmic women, questions about if candidates being sodomized before an election, the two inch crowd, etc. Although Rush has from time to time entertained topics like these, I don't remember him dwelling on these type of topics on a daily basis. Now it is a daily occurrence on his program. If Rush wants to use his on the air time to expound back-room jokes and filthy conversation, I simply can't listen to his program any more. I don't want my business, home or SUV filled with this garbage.

It isn't about testicles, it has more to with profane conversation.
Profanity is profanity, I don't care who's mouth it comes from.
After 8 years of profanity of the Clinton White House, I don't want to listen to it on the radio. Especially AM radio.

Actually he is beginning to sound a lot more like he used to in his Sacramento days....and I like it. I remember when he used to put a condom over the mike to make a point about safe or PC speach. Or his animial rights updates. The sort of irreverent things that made him great.

I disagree. I find his energy-level quite refreshing and reminiscent of the Old Rush. You must be a NEW Listener to his show as well as a new FReeper.

No doubt....when I first started listening to Rush in 1991 or so he definitely pushed the edge in a way that might have gotten him into trouble with the pre-Reagan FCC. Remember "My Boy Lollipop" as the Barney Frank update theme?
