Recording Stupid Leftist Comments (On the Capture of Hussein) for Posterity

[The Right Stuff]

Okay, folks, here is our chance to record - for all time - the dimwitted comments made by leftwingers in the U.S. regarding the fall of the evil dictator, Saddam Hussein.

Imagine that you are in occupied Europe in 1945, and it's your duty to get collaborators commentary out - written down on your trusty Underwood.

It's our duty and our privilege. Write on.

Here's a sampling of what I've found:

Presidential Candidate Dennis Kucinich, "we must...end the occupation of Iraq"
Presidential Candidate John F'ing Kerry, "It's a good day for Iraqis, but Americans are still going to die."
Dan Rather, "think of how poor Saddam must feel" paraphrased.
CNN - "the Iraqis don't care, there's not enough electricy and there are gas lines." Also, "why did it take so long?"
MSNBC - "the insurgents are too well organized to quit."
Campbell Brown - "This should help President Bush."
NPR - repeated the no-gas, no-water line
Paula Zahn and Aaron Brown - "Bush had better not gloat."
Yasser Arafat, taking a page away from Tom Daschle, is "saddened."
Evan Thomas, he of the infamous "thrice married shlub" slam against Rush Limbaugh, writes that "in a land where pride and dignity mean anything, the images (of Saddam being examined by US military doctors) are clearly intended to shame."
DUH, Evan, perhaps they were meant to show that - unlike Saddam and his tree shredder buddies - US doctors humanely treat even our worst enemies.

And then there are our friends at Democratic Underground. They inhabit a true Middle Earth, rife with demonical conspiracies devilishly enacted by that sub-human Neanderthal George W. Bush. How Bush can be so stupid and yet so devious remains to be explained.

According to our DU buddies, Bush was "jealous of Clinton, and with Wes Clark on his way to Sarajevo in order to testify against Milosevic, Bush had to nab Hussein."
Other theories posit that the exuberant street dancing by Iraqis, "appeared staged."
And, that the capture was an elaborate "photo op."

One almost has to feel sorry for such types. At least we can offer them a one way ticket to the destination of their choice - France?

Barney Frank is sooo depressed he wouldn't even kiss his gerbil Maxwell.

John Kerry is trying to forge his wife's name on a check to clean out the bank account.

Dean has finally gone rabid and chewed his left leg off trying to escape from the trap.

General Clark figures a sex change operation, sex with Bill Clinton, kissing Tipper and an abortion might get him up to 0.0001% of the womens vote.

Hillary has broken every lamp, candy dish, piece of china in her exclusive digs at Chapaqua. It is rumored that she plans a shoplifting spree in some of the finest resturants in NY tomorrow. She has had her pr person working out the details of explaining the mismatch as "being the latest in sophisticated eclectic mismatch" all the rage among the smart set.

Dan Rather was found nearly asphyxiated in a closet, wearing rubber with photos of Sadam , Castro, Bin Laden, Stalin and Hitler on the floor beside him.

John Edwards was making frantic calls to the Rose Law firm begging to be taken on as a Junior partner or at least a law clerk.


Bill Clinton refused 12 calls from Clark , Reportedly General Clark was begging him for spin on the capture of Sadam. Clark is well known not to be able to move his lips unless either Bill or Hillary's hand is shoved up his derrier moving his lips.

Terry McCullife was calling his broker looking for stock tips. He was over heard saying " With the rally the stock market is going to have tomorrow, surely there is a company that I can sink 15 cents into and have 100M by tomorrow evening. I did it before."

Jumping Jim Jeffords was seen hand washing his scanties after 15 changes during the day. A fly on the wall over heard him muttering " Man I sure backed the wrong horse in this race. That sawed off little back biting Daschel promised me a whole paragraph in the history books and all I am now is a brown streak".

Barbara Wawa actually had the stroke that we thought she had 15 years ago with the slurred speech she affects.

Katie Couric has lost her perk, she apparantly is resigned to being a drip for her senesence.

Al Frankin was seen trying to drown his sorrow in 45 big mac's. He was carted off to Belview screaming "Perp walk, Perp walk" at the top of his lungs. NY city is experiencing a shortage of straight jackets, apparanly there is a unconfirmed report that multiple jackets had to be canibalized to creat a single jacket to cover Mr. Frankins girth.

A spokesman for answer was said to be trying to organize a million coward candle light vigil in front of the Stalin monument in Seattle. It was reported the mantra of the evening would be " No immenent threat". So far Barbara Streisand has refused his calls. She told her press agent to tell the looser to go suck eggs. Barbara denied these baseless allegations on her web site.

Made a point to watch Rather on CBS news tonight. Unbelieveable but the broadcast showed Iraqis celbrating, Detroit Muslims celbrating,etc.

To balance this good news, Rather's tone was funeral-like and almost had a depsondence to it.

“Our National Guard … will be sitting ducks indefinitely for Saddam’s underground regime.” - Margaret Bitz

Ms. Bitz was right: Saddam’s regime certainly was underground. Six feet underground!

Happily, the Democrats’ cut and run strategy was not employed, and Saddam is in good hands. Congratulations and thanks to the troops!

I called her to tell her to turn on the news. She said she knew they would "catch him" right at election time.
