I guess Pearl Harbor never happened. Are you saying that bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a revenge for Pearl Harbor? I would rather suspect that it was a way to help Japanese establishment to justify quick surrender. Time was pressing as Soviet Army was getting ready to crash imperial forces on the continent.
