Wasn't the original title, 'The Passion of Christ'? Why the change?

No it is not 12 hours long. "The Passion of The Christ" is a vivid depiction of the last 12 hours of Jesus Christ's life.

Probably to emphasize that He is the One and Only Christ, the Annointed One of Israel.

This is a must see movie to ALL Christians. We must go in droves to see it at least once, if not a few times. Mel Gibson must be made proud-he sticked his neck out for all of us. He suffered lots of threats to himself, and to his future as an actor.

The Pope gives it two thumbs up: "It is as it was".

I'm definately planning on seeing it. While I'm not Catholic, I have a great deal of respect for John Paul II on certain things, and his comment on it was an excellent summation.

While I'm very thankful that Mel Gibson made this movie. My response is to pray for this nation and this world. I would think and hope that Mel didn't stick his neck out for us, but that he did the movie out of obedience to what he felt God calling him to do. I really believe that He will use this movie in a profound way.

I know for me sharing my faith is not the easiest thing to do. It wasn't until I was exposed with some tools to help me that I think I became more comfortable. I'm praying that this is one of those tools for our friends and loved ones.

Pray for this movie. Pray for people. Love people with your actions. Check out Micah 6:6. Great scripture to live by. Blessings to you all this season as we celebrate the birth of Christ.

This not just a must see movie for Christians but for everyone. My prayer is that many non-believers will see this movie. I pray that this will be the biggest evangelistic tool that was ever created. I pray that many will accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior because of this movie.

Powerful. I wouldn't line up for "The Return of the King" but I might consider it for this film.

They showed the trailer before ROTK on Friday... it was incredible. There was a mumbling in the crowd, and I, of course, clapped after the trailer was over and the name revealed. ;)

I can't wait for this movie to come out, and I say that as one who has only been to a movie theater once in the last 14 years. I hope I have to stand in a long, long line to see the "Passion of Christ".
