In other words you approach God on the strength of your performance. "Hi Dad, I did everything you told me to do so ... here I am. Let me in."

Personally all I can muster is " Lord have mercy upon me a worthless sinner. I accept your sacrifice on the cross."

Actually his return is sooner than it was.

We were left with far too many instructions and parables regarding the time of the second coming for God not to want each generation to "watch and be sober". The day and the hour we cannot know, the month and the year we can know, but only as it unfolds, like the layers of an onion being peeled away.

Jesus said he would not return until that man of perdition is revealed, the one we call the anti-Christ. More and more we see all politicians and those rich men that influence them, deceiving and themselves being deceived, pushing and proding the world into one global government.

The U.S. has been a hard nut for them to crack, that Christian foundation in the Constitution is very problamatic for them. Our Supreme Court has done it's best to help the process along by deliberately mis-interpreting what a child could understand, and when unable to make that baloon fly, they outright violate their office by ignoring and marginalizing that document.

Every politician of both parties is eagerly dissolving our borders, erasing our sovereignty, and promoting the god of Free Trade. An artificially manipulated mess that has less to do with Free Trade and more to do with globalist agendas. The demonrats cannot wait to have us all bowing and scraping to the U.N. The republicans have a slightly different set up in mind, but both parties are destructive, knowingly and deliberately, or in ignorance does not matter the result is the same.

There may be some major plot engaged in by shadowy persons, but I doubt that. I think greed, corruption and lust for power are just naturally making the pieces fall into place to set the stage for the anti-Christ.

We are told to watch events in Israel, when they divide up the land, when the question comes down to who gets Jerusalem, God's fury shall come up in His face, he shall stand up and call for a sword. The nations of the world will be arguing over Jerusalem, they will come against it with their armies.

What do we see happening in Israel, "The Road Map", gibberish about giving terrorists their own state, dividing up the land. When the Pali's get their state, they will cast about for another reason to kill Jews, that is when they will demand Jerusalem and begin another round of terrorism against Israel.

The anti-Christs kingdom is strong in some area's and weak in others. Over individual lives he will have complete control, down to what an individual can buy and sell to if he can buy or sell. His army will be strong. His kingdom will be weak in that it is almost impossible to keep the individual nations united. The nations will be only loosely united under the anti-Christ. Each nation worried about it's sovereignty, it's piece of the pie, it's own power. Each nation ready to abandon ship, terrified of this new future, yet unwilling to leave the union of nations to be a pariah, because maybe, just maybe it will work out to their benefit. Sound like the E.U.? The E.U. will develop it's own army and it will be a powerful one, so will their economy.

It could be the E.U. that pulls all other nations into it under the powerful personality of the anti-Christ, including Russia and China. The anti-Christ will seem to be the one that solves the question of Israel, he will sign a seven year peace contract with them. The world will say "Peace and Safety", the future will look bright. Big press coverage of smiling world leaders signing pacts, Russia no longer a worry, China no longer a worry. Everyone is going to work together. The "Federation" is born. And it all comes apart at the end of seven years. Three and a half for the anti-Christ to set it up, three and a half years in the cat bird seat, then pow. It's over.

What about the USofA? Scholars say they can't find us in scriptures and certainly not around at the time of the anti-Christ. And that seems impossible because we are so close to the time of Christ's return. It could be ten years it could be fifty, but that it is at the door cannot be ignored.

In regards to the U.S. there seems two likely possibilities, we are either Babylon and are destroyed in one hour, or we are so marginalized and poverty struck by being sucked dry that we can no longer play a big roll in anything. Both those scenarios are going on simultaneously. We are being sucked dry, and we are in danger of being blown to pieces in one hour.

The destruction of the USofA would be the perfect set of circumstances for the anti-Christ to take power. A sudden loss of the US on the world stage would send the world into upheaval. England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, would have to quickly unite in order to attempt to fill the void and protect themselves against the ambitions of Russia and China in such a scenario.

What ever is coming upon the United States is coming fast. Everyone can feel it, if they can't they are sleeping. I sometimes wonder if our fate hinges on the prayers of the saints in this nation begging for mercy. It could be that the US is so engaged in internal strife, coming apart at the seams economically and civilly, perhaps riots and civil war, that we are not a big player in the end times theater for having to focus on ourselves. If that is the case, even though we would still be a minor entity in the anti-Christs kingdom, even though it's horrible, it is certainly a better fate than the alternative complete and utter annihilation.

The woman sitting on the beast, in Revealation, she rides the beast controlling it, it hates her, the anti-Christ talks three nations into loaning him their nuclear power for one hour in which to destroy her, and he is successful.

The U.S. rides the U.N. controlling it against it's will. It has sought escape from our veto power and our almost sole financing of it by instigating a world tax on international travel or money transfers. We block that attempt at every turn. We are hated by not only the U.N. but the entire world. Very interesting looking at the pieces falling into place and wondering if you are looking at it rightly.
