It's on his collar and he's turned so you can't read his name patch. Our guys are smart!

Looks like a PFC not SGT but still....we'll see.

He's obviously a very smart soldier and since been promoted. ;)

That's nice, but having been a PFC before and a SGT, i'll stick with what I see.

As much as I hate the beast and applaud this trooper, he can get into a lot of trouble.

I hope this isn't photoshopped. I might have to consider making this my new desk top.

If that's how he felt, and I wouldn't blame him in the least for feeling that way, why didn't he refuse to participate in the photo-op in the first place? This was kind of bush league.

Reminds me.

I was speaking with my aunt from Durham Calif. (northern) over the weekend and she told me about listening to a soldier speak at a local event a few days earlier who had just returned from Iraq. He was present at one part of Hillary's troop tour.

Apparently, at least according to him, none of the troops wanted to be seen near her...particularly when in the mess hall. In fact some had to be "assigned" that duty. He told how the troops resented the the way she phrased her thanks....as a way of appologizing for Bush putting them there. He even said a few of the fellows later bagged about putting something unmentionable on his hands before shaking hers in greeting line.

...he can get into a lot of trouble.

I don't think so. The beauty of it is the ambiguity which provides plausible deniability.

That's true...it is very subtle...but if the beast or her staff would make an issue out of it!

Still don't see the problem. You think they'd consider it a wish to cut off the X42's daschle?
