Sounds like you're just a xenophobe (at best) to me. Sorry, but if you knew anything about economics, you'd know that people are capital, and if you don't have people, your economy will eventually stagnate. I respect the fact that you live in Mississippi so therefore a prosperous economy is not something you really care about or even want, but the rest of this country does. You're fighting a losing battle, Coach, and as a Southerner myself (both sides being in the South since before the Civil War, out of Louisiana and Arkansas), I am very glad your side is passing on.

I would say its a globalist spoon. His statements directly support a policy directive issued at the Summit of the Americas in 1998.

I actually see good in the immigration plan.

In 1986 Congress promised the American people that there would never be another amnesty. Mr. Bush knows that and should never ask the American people or Congress to support another one. The last amnesty in 1986 has done nothing but harm this country and another one will make the situation worse.

You want no immigration? Is that a joke? So you just want the country to shrink (since it would without that)?

Honestly, I've lived enough in the South to know exactly what you are, Coach. Trust me. Seen it many times over and I know the rhetoric perfectly. Like I say, glad your side is fading away because as it has (and continues to do) not only is the South becoming wealthier but more conservative as well. The yellow dog populists like you are a dying breed in the South.

Economies built on low-wage jobs create low wage jobs. You need to bone up a little.

This is so false, it's sad. I doubt you really believe it though and are just looking for something to say to support your anti-immigrant position. Cheaper labor exists because people are willing to work where others are not. Not only do the immigrants make more than where they came from, but the business owners make more as well creating a more competitive pricing environment (as well as a better investments market) which strengthens the real wages of everyone else in the area. Sorry, Coach, I don't want your radical federal government totalitarianism. Thankfully, neither do most Americans, and our great conservative President realizes this.

Yes just like the Campaign Finance Reform Act, wow this guy is brilliant. CFR was going to get passed one way or the other. John McKeating was going to see to that.

The Democrats have been hurt by it more than the Republicans, much to their surprise.

Which means it ain't gonna last much longer.

You have to pick your battles if you want to come out ahead, and some battles just run their course whether you get in the line of fire or not.

Great article here on Lt. General Ricardo Sanchez. Growing up as a dirt poor Mexican immigrant to a single mother on welfare, it's funny to know that half of FR would rather have him deported.

As far as my kind fading away goes, don't count on it. We are the millions of people interested in our family histories and the history of the nation and its people. We'll be around long after your kind has disappeared into the demographic sausage grinder that you so eagerly embrace.

Riiiight. Segregation now and segregation forever, right, Coach? You and your Southern Democrat crowd was wrong then and you'll be on the losing side of history again this time.

Second, you sound like a Democrat, not me.

In your lifetime, have you ever voted for any Democrats for President or Governor?
