Considering the number of criminals that are within the borders of my state, North Carolina, I'm just as concerned with both. Watching the local news I have seen a major increase in crime from illegal aliens. In the city of Raleigh NC, 11 of the 18 most wanted criminals are Hispanic. 10 of those are wanted for murder, the other one for armed robbery. I'm sure all of those gentlemen arrived legally wouldn't you say?

If Tommy T. were to get his way (thank God this bill has a snowball's chance in he!! of being enacted), he would do to Republicans on the national level what Pete Wilson did in one state.

AND.......thousands of illegal aliens are preying on Americans everyday! There are currently 60 i.a.'s safe in Mexico after committing murder here in California. 60! Mexico does no cooperate with deportation for their criminals who might get the death penalty or life in prison. They consider that inhumane. The local TIMEX shop owner befriended an i.a. a few years back and even allowed him to stay at his home until he got on his feet. John (the store owner) also had Tony, a 23 year old man and friend of my daughter, working there. There was some disagreement and the illegal entered the back door of the shop shooting John in the mouth and the shot and killed Tony. He ran to Mexico, of course. John was in the hospital for months recuperating from the bullet that entered his mouth and Tony never got up off the floor. You tell me.....can you look at an illegal and decide if they are a potential criminal or not? Me either.... So what do you suggest we do. Judge everyone based on the actions of a few; just to be safe? What was the "disagreement" between the illegal and Tony?

Re your post 15: Your narrow-minded, hate-filled, venomous, taxpayer-hating, illegal immigrant-loving, open borders mentality is not supported by the great majority of Americans. Check the polls--consistently, Americans are overwhelmingly against illegal immigration. You may want this country flooded with third-world immigrants; most conservatives do not. Tancredo is much closer to the American mainstream than your "come-one, come-all" approach.
