We welcome those who follow the rule of law and come here legally. That enables this country to control the impact on our infrastructure and culture.

Your name calling should qualify you for removal from this board.

Pull our "Peacekeepers" back from their UN "duties" in Bosnia. More than enough. Get the governors of the affected States to call up a local militia. Hell, just leave Ranch Rescue alone and they'll probably do a better job all around.

Which is more offensive a white racist or a hispanic one?

Why anyone would want to reduce the discussion to race is beyond me.

Welp.....so much for him. Where did he come from?

How does one contact a moderator when you need one? I may need one in the future.

I don't believe that the pro-Catholicism hispanics have much in common with the liberal agenda.

You can either hit the Abuse Button, or send a Freep mail to "Admin Mod". I think "Lead Moderator" is another one.

Ranch Rescue is not the kind of publicity we need to fight this fight. They are heading for a meltdown if they're not careful. We need clear thinking patriots, not Jack Foote types. The less said about them the better.

You can type in either admin moderator or lead moderator. You can also click the report abuse button on the post that you feel crosses the line.

Thank you so much for posting it in its entirety, I just did not have the time to format it all. By the way, the link below seems to work for me, it doesn't disappear like the others do. It takes you to the Bill Summary Page and from there you can scroll down to the Text link, then use the Printer friendly link which will take you directly to the full text.

House Version Sponsored by Tom Tancredo of CO

This has nothing to do with race. It's called breaking the law. You cross the border illegally, at that point you become a criminal. Unfortunately at the national level, the Republican party has become so moderate that good legislation like this will have a hard time getting through. Unless enough citizens of their respective states call in and tell their representation to get behind it

yeah he is so the dims will probably throw a bbq in ft marcy park in his honor....but methinks he might be a little more armed than they are and not afraid to use it.

I just don't understand how people that are/have been associated with the "corrupt two" could possibly be stupid enuff to think they won't end up with the same fate as an armadillor trying to cross the road in front of 10 speeding 18 wheelers.

This deserves a NC bump considering what has gone on in this state in the past 10 years. This amnesty that shall not be called amnesty presented by President Bush should be stopped in its tracks. This bill would be a good start

Find your Representative

Contact your Senator

Personally here in NC, for our voice to be heard it would have to be stopped in the House, considering our representation in the Senate. sheltonmac, I know you're not a fellow North Carolinian but I thought you might like to see this bill if you hadn't already

"Come here legally, and you are very welcome indeed. Come here illegally and you are no better than any other two-bit criminal. You deserve to be treated as such, not welcome guests."

That is a ridiculous statement. How can you compare a "criminal" like the guy who killed his 11 month old kid, his wife, the inlaws, kidnapped 3 little girls in Georgia to someone who jumps the border in hopes of making an honest living? A "two-bit criminal" has a serious meaning where I come from. Only fools use it loosely.

I just received a action alert from FAIR part of which follows:

Congressional Leadership Willing to Pass Bush Guestworker Amnesty

Read our Update and Take Action!
Thanks for your phone calls, emails, and faxes over this past week against the Bush guestworker amnesty proposal. Your continued efforts are needed.
Reports indicate that Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) and House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) are planning to help pass legislation modeled after President Bush's proposal. Calls are coming into their offices both for and against the Bush proposal. But it's imperative that WE FLOOD their offices with calls AGAINST this outrageous proposal.

Action Needed:
Call Majority Leader Frist (202-224-2708), Speaker Hastert (202-225-2976), and the White House (202-456-1111) immediately to voice your strong opposition.

If this is why business wants immigration, legislation won't stop it.
