JMO, Mr. Berlat has whole lot more in common with the Howard Dean and his minions(demeanor wise) than he does with the base of the Republican party.

What, we should all remain blissfully ignorant? There are things worth being upset about, and this is one of them.

But, in Dane's world, we should sit around and laugh at All in the Family reruns while the nation deteriorates outside.

Dane believes that ad hominem attacks represent thoughtful, cogent replies when in reality they're nothing but pathetic, even amusingly vain, vacuous attempts revealing a decidely questionable level of intellectual discourse and ability.

I've been a political junkie for as long as I can remember. But right now I'm so angry and disappointed I yearn to be one of those people who doesn't know who the Vice President is. A few days ago I was really looking forward to the State of the Union address. Now I'm not sure I can watch it.
