It appears that every airline diversion for the next 100 years or so will now be under this type of scrutiny, thanks to these f*cking terrorists.I know it's for an obvious good reason, but they really did win, in a sick kind of way. Didn't they?
Yes, in a way they did. I totally support taking no chances with disruptive passengers and exercising perhaps undue caution. We have to. Maybe it would help reduce the incidents if there was no alcohol on airflights. Also, if there were a sky marshall (or armed crew member) on the flight, perhaps he/she could exercise personal discretion in restraining the unruly passenger for the scheduled duration of a flight without diverting or detaining the flight?

Probably caused by some jerk that couldn't accept the fact that they weren't going to give him/her another beer before landing.

Apparently, the intoxicated passenger was wearing a crusty, foul-smelling black pant suit and get muttering something about wanting to crash an airplane into a gas station in St. Louis, MO.
When the flight attendant, Linda Goldstein, asked her to stay seated, the woman in the crusty, black pant suit called her a F*cking Jew Ba*stard. Then she started yelling about how she was good friends with Arafat's wife, and that they had kissed and she'd see to it that Goldstein never worked again.
As they removed her from the plane she reportedly threw a $1,000 dollars at Goldstein and challenged her to turn it into $100,000 dollars. Authorities are currently questioning her.

I hope they through the book at her. There are plenty of unsold copies. Maybe they will through a case of them at her.

From WTOP radio - airport security and the FBI spoke to passengers and one male passenger is now in FBI custody. The rest of the passengers are being bussed to Reagan airport.

I wish someone one explain to me how these "lists" are even relevant. If a terrorist is going to board a plan, surely his handlers are smart enough to use fake ids and names. Our country is crawling with identity theft, I am can only imagine it is worse overseas. JMO

TSA spokesman Mr. Malindez
To: OXENinFLA
Could that could be why the plane took 3 hours to go from NY to DC, using up extra fuel?

To: Excuse_My_Bellicosity
Luggage being checked with dogs, per Fox.
