That jives better with AA website that says it left LGA at 10:57am.

24 passengers on board, one person still on the plane and being questioned by FBI, other passengers are in the terminal being questioned by the FBI.
Expert on Fox guesses the person standing up scenario as most likely, too.

Fox saying some ramblings about miscommunications, passengers standing up when they should have been sitting...Yeah, no one is supposed to stand-up for 30 minutes for any flight into or out of Reagan National. As many times as I've flown out of there this past year, trust me on that one.
And I noticed the pilots will often bet on a "non-English speaking person" (their words) standing up before the 30 minutes is up.

but it's looking like some mundane reason. One can only hope.
It appears that every airline diversion for the next 100 years or so will now be under this type of scrutiny, thanks to these f*cking terrorists.
I know it's for an obvious good reason, but they really did win, in a sick kind of way. Didn't they?

24 passengers..one being held for questions..could be obnoxious disruptive passenger per 'security expert' on fox

It will always be "an obnoxious disruptive passenger" for the next 10 years.

One way to limit the disruptive passenger problem would be land the plane and put the disruptive one in a room with the other passengers (each armed with a big stick) and close the door for about twenty minutes.

could be obnoxious disruptive passenger per 'security expert' on fox Drinking alcohol and flying in an airplane at high altitudes do not seem to mix. I have posted the question before as to whether or not the altitude has anything to do with alcohol consumption, where seemingly "normal" persons turn into raving lunatics while flying.
$20 (to the FReepathon, of course) says that the obnoxious passenger had alcohol in his/her system.
Any takers?

You'd think they would have taken the dude off the plane "first" and waltzed him away.

Probably no such option . . .
But Hyanisport(sp) comes to mind. Isn't there a ScubaTeddy private airport we could direct it to?

Kind of like the CAP flights over LAX authenticating with Norad....those letters change every mission.

You'd think they would have taken the dude off the plane "first" and waltzed him away. New expert up on Fox is speculating that the list of passengers had a name that raised some flags and that is why the one person is being held on the plane rather than brought in the terminal.
That is his *guess*.

Guess....Bwahahah. He's a newsman not a weatherman.
Regardless, I recall Usama's words from one of his threatening speeches: "In the belly of an eagle"

"I'll sure Potomac Approach will appreciate the divulsion of that little tidbit of information.Anybody involved with aviation know that already. Cardinal didn't break any rules. Now, if he would have said, "the code word for today is "index"", he would have broke the law.
