That's two for Texas!! Let's pick up the pace!!
Do they have a death penalty in Vermont? How many were executed while Gunga-Dean was governor?

Possible (but insignificant) bug in the forum software: for me, this thread has the wrong title (as the title of the window, not in the page itself). I think it might be because comment #1 was removed by the moderator.

More AP modified headlines:
Hitler executes self for not being nice to his subordinates.
Romanians execute Ceausescu for refusing to say I'm sorry.
Gary Gilmore executed in Utah for robbery gone wrong.

Just as equally ludicrous: "Constipationalist killed by police merely for driving car." (He was stopped for a driving violation, refused to hand over a valid driver's license he didn't have anyway, drove off against lawful police orders to halt, was chased for miles, climbed out of his car shooting at the cops, who returned fire, and killed him in self-defense. But supposedly the Constipationalist, we are told, acted in self-defense. Hence, "killed by police merely for driving to church.")

I could have sworn that it didn't have the word "fatal" when I read the story before extracting the source code to post the story. Maybe that was a split second thing, or maybe I have Mad Cow. Or maybe it's because the Houston Chronicle has a tendency to put different headlines on its website than actually appear on the stories.
I'm not wrong about what I posted in Post 11, because that's still the headline in their archives. Any way that you look at it, the paper is now qualifying to a very small degree, why this execution took place.
I'm sorry for any confusion.

;Ex-pizza man set to die this week for $10 robbery
Wouldn't take to many rounds of that and I bet robberies would virtually vanish......
